"This restaurant serves genuinely authentic Polish food that is perfectly prepared. My compliments to the chefs for creating such wonderful dishes. It was truly excellent—thank you! I have often visited Poland to see family and for motorcycle racing events, where I've had my fair share of Polish cuisine. This place stands out as second to none. Dining here transported me straight back to Poland. It was my first visit, and I brought my son along; we both thoroughly enjoyed every moment, right up to the dessert. SMACZNEGO!"

"I had dinner at Kampai while visiting friends in Vestal, and we had an AMAZING omakase experience. I wish I took more photos of our food to do the meal justice, but these few will have to suffice. The head sushi chef was super friendly, attentive to ourtaste requests (which was just to go on a delicious adventure! and dished up beautifully crafted plates. The fish was fresh andhearty (no skimping on cuts here! and the simple vanilla ice cream dessert was made decadent with gold sugar decoration andfruit details. Besides the 12 out of 10 food, Kampai's ambiance is fantastic. While we enjoyed our more intimate dinnerexperience at the sushi bar, there were larger groups enjoying the hibachi tables, something I would like to try on my nextvisit. I also appreciated that the restaurant manager took the time to check in on us, which was very thoughtful, especiallysince it was a busier night. I can understand why Kampai has been in business since 1975 and I look forward to my next visit!"

"I went here with my girlfriend on a date it was our first time here. I was on the fence about ordering the goat cheese pizza. They told me if I did not like it I wouldn't have to pay for it. There was a misunderstanding due to there being pork on my goat cheese pizza. It was prosciutto. I thought prosciutto was a type of cheese honestly, that was my mistake. I tried to speak with my waiter about it, telling him I am Muslim and cannot eat pork. He took my pizza to have it remade. He came back angry and defensive, telling me it is not the restaurant's fault for having pork on the pizza. I told him he was right it's not but I never said it was the restaurant's fault, I just cannot have the pork due to religious reasons. My girlfriend chimed in to de-escalate the situation and told the waiter it was just a misunderstanding and we apologize for the inconvenience. The waiter told my girlfriend she should have been a big girl and should have picked the pork out of my pizza. I told the waiter that we were the customers and we aren't very happy with how we're being treated. The waiter stormed off and came back with the pizza. I thought that was that. After eating my new pork-free goat cheese pizza, the waiter came back with the bill and charged me for both goat cheese pizzas, going back on what he said earlier. I felt very attacked that night, and I will never go there again. No one should have to experience that at a restaurant. It was terrible service, I advise against having a meal at this place."

"This is the best sushi I've had in a long time, and the portions are just right! I was having a really terrible day and decided to try something new, and it completely lifted my spirits. The pickup experience was also pleasant! Plus, the Crab Meat Salad is fantastic; they top it with crunchy bits and serve a generous portion. Highly recommend!"

"I'm feeling conflicted about my recent experience at this restaurant. My friend and I ordered a pizza and two sodas for lunch and sat inside. However, when I checked my card statement, the amount charged did not match the receipt I received. I accidentally threw out the receipt, but I know I left a $5 cash tip. It seems I was also charged an additional $5 tip on my card, which I did not authorize. The receipt showed a total of $18 something, but I was charged $22, making my total $27 with the cash tip included. This makes dining in too expensive. Although I have enjoyed dining here in the past, this experience has made me hesitant to return. I suspect there was a mistake with the total on the receipt or the cashier may have altered it after giving it to me. I paid using the cash app to avoid a split payment at the register, which almost caused an overdraft in my account. While I understand mistakes happen, this situation has left me unsure about returning. The pizza was delicious, but I may choose to visit a different restaurant next time or order online."
