"Five stars! This place is incredibly affordable, and while the food is decent, the prices are unbeatable. There may not be much in the way of ambiance, but if you're hungry, you won’t mind. You can either grab your food to go or enjoy it outside at their shaded benches. The half-pound burger is really delicious, and the thin, crispy fries are a tasty addition. Compared to other burger joints, this place is a real winner. Their Chicago dogs are also quite impressive. Years ago, this was a hidden gem, but now it offers prices that are much lower than Shirls. If you’re on a budget, this is definitely the spot to hit up. Plus, you can watch the organized and clean kitchen right from the front counter!"

"To start. The salads were fresh and good. My wife had the deconstructed ravioli. It was good. She enjoyed it. I got the hamburger. This is where the problem was. I asked for it to be medium well. It came out it was raw in the middle. On top of that it didn't have any flavor, to the point that I didn't even want to mess with sending it back. Very disappointed. The homemade fries were very good. The deserts we're very good. We got deserts to share. One was the bagnets very good and fun watching my wife inject them was great. I got the Alaskan- which was Chocolate cake with ice cream and smothered with marshmallow then torched like a s'mores. It was outstanding. Overall. Good fun place. Would go back just not for the burger"

"Traveling from Chicago to the Twin Cities on Easter Sunday, we were afraid we had to eat quickly, but Google Maps led us here. Wonderful food, friendly service and a well-equipped kitchen! Daughter had berry pancakes with fresh whipped cream and fresh fruit – everything was perfect. Petes Crepes were wonderful and hearty. Husband had Irish hash- and said it was the best he had. We wished to live closer, but will plan our next trip with this stop in the eye."

"Would not go back!!! I think the sushi prices was great but not worth the horrible service! I ordered a sake flight did not like it; therefore, I didn't drink it POLITELY asked for it to be sent back taken off my bill. They weren't able to take it off my bill (which is fine) and asked me for a replacement drink. Which was fine; however, my replacement drink was $8 versus the flight was $20. Once our bill came and we paid cash one of the servers came back literally ASKED FOR MORE TIP! I explained my drink was only $8 while my flight (that I did not drink) was $20 and I asked for a second drink which she said she could only give me one drink. But she wouldn't leave our table until we gave her more money. Additionally, she was condescending when explaining how tipping works. It felt disrespectful degrading Never in my life have I had a server asked for more tip money let alone made us feel humiliated shamed for our tip amount forced us to tip more. I will never be returning to this place will never recommend this place to anyone will be telling everyone about this terrible experience."

"Joey is THE BEST. When a restaurant is on the higher end of the price scale, they better deliver on all counts. Well, this establishment went above and beyond. We started off with the calamari. Yum! My husband ordered the 14 oz NY strip with mashed sweet potatoes and was extremely content with the choice. I had one of their salads and their Portobello mushroom quesadilla. Sooo good that I can't wait to go back. I wanted to try the crab brie soup but the waiter was very honest and said it was phenomenal but something to be shared. Next time! Our water glasses were always filled and the staff was courteous from the hostess to the busboys to our waiter. I have high expectations and did not walk away from this place disappointed in the least. The only recommendation I would have is a slight improvement on the chocolate cake. I would give that 3 stars. And, just my opinion, if you are a frequent guest always content but have one less-than-satisfactory experience, tell management before posting neg reviews that can't be taken back."
