Filippi's Pizza Grotto Scripps Ranch

We’ve eaten at this place 3 times, gotten takeout twice. Always the best cheat day ???? They do odd requests for pizza toppings and I love it.

love the Antipasto Special. it tastes amazing, and we always have rest for a few days to enjoy. I also love their thin crust margherita pizza.

I highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to ask about the secret menu items! The Special Sample Platter might seem intimidating, but it will definitely fill you up. Ver carta

This is some of the best prime rib I’ve ever had! This location of Filippi's is the only one that serves it. Give it a try—you won't regret it! The service was excellent, too!

Ordered to eat at home. Opened all the food and was disappointed in their garlic bread... there was no garlic or bread to be found. : it was soaked in sauce. The steak sandwich had undercooked meat and splashes of red sauce. The spaghetti with meat had not enough sauce for the amount of noodles given. Sad sad :

The Prime Rib was amazing, really amazing. The smallest cut is 16 oz then 20 oz then bone in 24 oz. We shared the 20 oz and it came with garlic bread, pasta (lasagna) and salad. You could get baked potatoe instead. They even split everything for us. The lasagna wasn't anything to write home about but it was a nice portion. The prices for this wonderful Prime Rib was around $35ish for the 20oz. Not bad Ver carta

Unfortunately the Sunday bartender at this restaurant needs training dealing with a busy bar lounge in the restaurant. The bartender was very grumpy! The host Josh was great and knew what he was doing. The Sunday bartender needs to work on her skillsdealing with the public. Other than that, our meals came out good thanks to the cooks and Josh for serving our table! I wouldnot go back on a Sunday for lunch at this restaurant if that female bartender is working, I would turn around and leave!

I have always loved Filippi 's pizza and usually get the works . This was my first time ordering from this location and I must say I 'm really disappointed. The other locations (Escondido and PB) make a wonderfully cheesy pizza -Thick, almost deep dish feel with more cheese than your heart 's every desire. What we got here was nothing close to that.. it was mediocre at best and didn 't have the signature amount of cheese. On top of that, the crust felt dry and maybe a little over-baked. Guess I 'll just stick with going to the other locations

Not all Filippi’s pizza are the same. Apparently this location is the best as far as food and atmosphere. They have the formal dining room and lounge area with the bar if you want to chill. A lot of the locals come here to hang out. Did you know that they have a secret menu? We ordered from the regular menu. We got wings, ravioli and lasagna. Both the ravioli and lasagna had the same sauce. I wouldn’t order that combo again. The wings were dry rub, large, and juicy. We didn’t find the food to be that great but the atmosphere was the place to be that evening. We will for sure be back to join the locals and order spicer wings. Ver carta
