"Being new to the neighborhood, a few friends and I decided to try Firefly Bistro for the first time. The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food was great. However, it took nearly an hour for our food to be served. Not once did the waitress come back to our table to tell us that the food would be out shortly, as most restaurants do. The food came about fifty minutes after ordering. One of my friend 's meals was supposed to come with toast. The waitress said the toast would be right out. The toast never came, and neither did the waitress. There wasn 't any wait staff around at all in fact. In order to speak to the manager, I had to call the store using my cell phone. The owner actually ended up coming to my table. We politely explained that he hadn 't received his toast and we just wanted to bring it to her attention. She replied with, Well, you didn 't have to call the store to get my attention, I was right up around the corner. My response was, The only way to get any kind of service was to call. I also brought it to her attention that the employee that picked up the phone was a member of her staff, and put me on hold for about three minutes before the owner was able to answer, when she was a little over an arm 's length away from the phone. I don 't believe she was aware that I could see both her and the employee that answered the phone from where I was sitting. More rude remarks were made by the owner in our conversation, as we were simply trying to tell her it could all be settled if he received the remainder of his order. The check finally came, and the waitress said, Hope your day gets better in an outrageously sarcastic tone."

We have been going to Firefly for many years now. The expertly crafted menu provides a unique experience, incorporating a mix of traditional dishes and modern takes on other popular faire. Parking: They have their own lot next to the restaurant.

Great night and great food. Dave Clarke was serenading us on the patio while Connie, our server, kept us stocked up on food and drinks.The service and music made my wife's birthday night. Furthermore, the food was banging (i.e, scallops and Cobb salad w/ inhouse Caeser dressing, and peanut butter pie).

Dont be fooled- no gluten free experience here. There is a menu- just no safe handling. The fries are not prepared separately- according to the server- are you allergic just sensitive to gluten? I asked the right questions and chose wisely, still became gluten and sick. Another place not safe to dine despite a listed gluten-safe menu. Overall, the food was very good, but there were several hiccups. For example, a BLT sandwich arrived with without bacon. A person who does not like sauces requested butter with their lobster containing meal instead of hollandaise sauce, and it never arrived until the meal was over. A gnocchi dish (e pepe with lobster) had gnocchi that was way overcooked and was extremely peppery. But the appetizers, desserts and other three meals were very good.

We often dine at Firefly and we enjoy the ambience of the place. The food is delicious and the service is exceptional. On the weekends it is best to reserve a table to avoid waiting. I have tried several dishes and they were all excellent. One of my favorites is Grilled Chicken Farfalle. They offer a wide variety of wine and cocktails. All of the servers have great personalities but our favorite is Danielle. I have recommended this place to all of my friends. Great for date night. Vegetarian options: My boyfriend is pescatarian and always finds something great on the menu.
