"Current menu on Google maps is old, please update. Esp prices! Came in for a quick lunch stop with my dad today and figured we 'd check this bar out as it has such high reviews. Most of what I 've heard about this bar is that it 's 'The oldest bar in Buffalo ' which may or may not be true as far as structure housing a bar goes but the bar tender filled us in that the doors to the bar opened in the mid 1980 's, regardless the interior suits it 's name as it 's decorated with memorabilia from our nation 's presidents and wars. There 's probably seating for close to 50 people including the bar and a variety of TV 's broadcasting the latest sports updates. The menu was on the smaller side but the food didn 't disappoint. I ordered the 'Philly cheese steak ' sandwich and a cup of broccoli and cheese soup. The sandwich was loaded with huge tender cut pieces of actual steak with fresh sweet peppers (and by choice no onion, add mushrooms) the mushrooms was a bad choice as they are canned and not fresh... the roll could have used a decent toast to keep the roll crisp and together but otherwise it 's be a 5/5 star review. Stop in for some grub or a drink with friends and you won 't be disappointed!"

Awesome. First time here. Philly Cheese Steak was sooooo good! Quaint place, Bartender was friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked in. Will definitely be coming back with family and friends!

I ordered a pitcher of Guinness at this restaurant. It was a pretty relaxed atmosphere overall. There wasn't any loud music, which made it easy to have a conversation. The decor was cool and interesting to admire when we weren't talking.

Saw this place on 50 things you didn 't know about Buffalo, so if course I had to check it out and have a drink. Found myself trying to remember my American history immediately, taking in all the really cool pics flags. Bar trivia, fun atmosphere, good time. Ver carta

The ambiance, cuisine, and service at this restaurant were excellent. As a history enthusiast, I particularly enjoyed the collection of presidential memorabilia. Our server, who also happened to be the chef, prepared a delicious burger for me, while my husband tried the Philly cheesesteak. I have never been a fan of cheesesteaks before, but I must say, I have been missing out. It was absolutely delicious!

This place is wondrous. Staff are super friendly and the decor is great. Probably a great place to play out of the apartment “True American”. Wander in there sometime. If you don’t like it maybe Daedonggang Bar in Pyongyang is more your speed. Also Lincoln is wearing a mask as he can’t move to ensure he can abide by social distancing. I was in there 15 minutes and felt right at home. From a Covid standpoint they are playing by the rules and I felt comfortable.
