"After receiving a gift card from a friend, we decided to give the Grove one last chance. The parking lot was full, so I asked the hostess for directions on where to park. She directed us to a spot across the street, but we couldn't find any parking other than in residential areas. After driving back to inform the hostess that we were having trouble, she tried to help, but we still couldn't find the parking area and ended up parking in someone's yard. To make matters worse, we had to walk across the street in the rain. When we arrived, we were told we couldn't be seated early due to a private event, even though the main restaurant was quite quiet. Then, when I tried to order my first drink, I was informed it was unavailable because they were switching suppliers. My husband also inquired about an item we had seen on the online menu, but we learned that those menus were different and the item wasn’t available. Additionally, we felt rushed to order our main entrees because the kitchen was backed up due to the private event, despite the restaurant not being very busy, with many empty tables. If the restaurant can't accommodate regular guests, perhaps it should consider closing to the public during such events. Sadly, our food was just average. It’s very disappointing to say that the Grove is no longer a place we’d choose to visit again."

"This restaurant started a few years ago as high end asian food, and it was quite good. It has deteriorated to mediocre or worse. We ordered ginger steamed sea bass, at premium market price, and got an old fish which was stale and tasteless. It’s disappointing, because high end asian food is rare in this area."

"It's like stepping back in time. The thin, crispy crust, delicious sauce, and generous amounts of cheese make for a fantastic pizza. The service is excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant has preserved its original knotty pine decor and doors, creating a brilliant and comforting atmosphere. While many other restaurants have modernized over the years, they’ve missed the mark. For the past two decades, places have been buying reclaimed wood and putting up new vintage-style decorations, but Riverview has the beauty of wood that has naturally aged, along with charming red leather booths and cozy nooks for seating, all of which create a warm and inviting space. And let's not forget the unbeatable prices! It’s not just a wonderful place to dine; it’s an experience! Just a heads-up, parking can be a bit frustrating during dinner hours."

"My Partner and I have a Christmas party every year since 2014 apart from 2 years of the pandemic.We order the majority of the food from Ipswich Clambake. Last party in 2019 was good not great, we wondered if it would good this but decided to keep it local give them the order for lobster rolls, bacon wrapped scallops, salads, clam chowder etc. First just ordeing it was an ordeal! Then when we went to pick it up they the order was not ready as the staff had not got the order which was ordered 3 weeks prior! The staff did do a good job getting it to gether but we had people waitng for an hour at our party for food! The owner gave my partner a lillylivered apology after the event, when he back with the containers. he would not have got one otherwise. No offer of a discount!! That was $1000 order!!! Never again"
