"Franco's sauces are truly exceptional, and his pasta dishes are top-notch. Last night for dinner, K had the stuffed shells, which were absolutely delightful—perfectly seasoned and rich in flavor. Our salads were fresh and fantastic, dressed with Franco's balsamic vinaigrette (which he also sells by the bottle). However, the highlight for me was the simple sausage and pepper sub. I believe a lot of it comes down to Franco's sourcing; the sausage, like the balsamic vinegar and his incredible sauces, is definitely not the average grocery store variety. That's what sets Franco's apart and makes it truly remarkable."

I visited Italian Rest in Middletown for the first time, and I had a great experience. The food was delicious, and the portion sizes were generous.

The soup was from a prepackaged source, and the meatball parmesan didn’t have any parmesan cheese. The sauce was excessively sweet, and the meatballs were bland. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

I absolutely love this large, classic cheese pizza topped with pepperoni. If I had the extra cash, I’d probably order it twice a month! Even though I don't have it very often, I truly enjoy it every time I do.

The new menu is quite delicious, though it is notably limited in options. The revamped dining area is pleasant, but lacks soundproofing, resulting in a noisy atmosphere even when the place is not crowded. Despite this, I still recommend it for its unique and tasty offerings.
