"My husband and I were visiting in town for the first time, and we had read good reviews about Gatsby online. Open table allowed for us to book an 830 pm reservation, however when we arrived I noticed our server was trying to rush us, which I hate when you are at a fine dining establishment. We go out to eat with covid regulations all the time and the usual rule is that you have an hour and a half time limit. We hadn’t even gotten out appetizers yet, which the waitress forgot one of them, when she informed us that the kitchen was closing at 9. At this point it was 858 pm. We had barely looked at the menu! Then the chef/owner came out of the kitchen to our table saying he apologized but needed to get his staff out . I have worked in restaurants for 10 years and we go out to eat at least once a week and have never had this happen. If it wasn’t so difficult to get a reservation in Scottsdale, we would have left. The steak my husband ordered was burned and the tuna I had was good but after what happened it ruined the whole experience and normally we would stay for dessert and drinks but wanted to get out of there. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this establishment (as we are moving to the area) , and I’m not surprised the place was dead compared to other restaurants in the area."

The cocktails are delicious, the salads are fresh, and the entrees are wonderfully spiced and expertly prepared. The staff is always friendly and wonderful!

We loved everything about this place! The roaring 20s concept mixed up a concept of a steakhouse! The filet and lamb chops were cooked perfectly and the cut of meats were tender. We will be back!

The cocktails are old-school wonderful; my French 75 tasted like another, please! We had Caesar salads, Scallops, Petite Filet, and shared roasted potatoes and asparagus sides. All were perfectly prepared and wonderfully seasoned. The heaters kept us cozy warm, even on a cool Arizona evening, so outdoor dining is great here.
