Gatsby's Landing - Carta

Always a wonderful experience at Gatsby's Landing Roslyn. The food is exceptional and extremely fresh. The only thing better than the food is the service.

Gatsby's is so good that I was actually there once for lunch and once for dinner over these past five days. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, directly next to the pond. Food and service, as always, was excellent.

Met friends for dinner. Everything was delicious. Had the fig and goat cheese salad. very tasty. order baked clams.. tasted a little fishy. but didn't get sick... then we shared the pasta special fresh rigatoni with short rib ragu.. and the strip steak. everything was very good. Ver carta

We had a lovely dinner here for our anniversary. The food, service, ambiance everything was excellent. Our waiter was awesome. Because I must have indicated on the reservation that it was our anniversary, the waiter brought over a sparkler and insisted that we have dessert on them. We will definitely go back.

Service was very courteous and attentive. Appetizer and main course was delicious ! However, dessert was a little disappointing; molten lava cake was literally just a brownie, and the warm apple crisp was extremely tart. I would’ve gave food 5 stars if the dessert was better. Overall, a great restaurant with a good appetizer and main course!

We went here to celebrate a birthday. The appetizers were out of this world. We ordered fried calamari and baked clams, and ordered a special which a bruschetta that was toasted, with burrata, prosciutto, fig and drizzled with honey. For main course, we ordered the lamb chops which were cooked to perfection. The farro and cherry drizzle were superb. Ver carta

This was a place my wify took me and boy was I surprised with the quality of food served and above all the service we received was of a top 5* rated restaurant you would find in heart of NY which would charge you $250+ a plate. I would come again to thisplace for the delicious food and because the quality of service you get from the staff. Make sure you TIP them well because Ifeel it's right thing to do when you have staff that give you above and beyond type of service.

Several plusses but a few minuses as well. The dinner rolls were divine!! Most appetizers were great but the calamari (usually my fave) was such a let down. The texture was awesome but the actual taste was disappointingly bland and somewhat egg-y. Crab cake was raved about and the burrata was pretty good. I had the halibut (catch of the day) and my partner got the 8oz strip. Neither was a hit. But others at the table had Branzino, Salmon and Chicken and those got rave reviews. Inside is pretty dark (speakeasy vibe) and due to the location of our table, the beautiful waterfront view was obscured. That too was a letdown b/c ambiance as a big part of why we chose this restaurant. I 'll try agai...

Gatsby’s is a total gem on LI’s North Shore. I’ve been several times and always love the food, and went last night with a girlfriend and just had to write a review on how SUPERB the food and service were. An excellent dining experience, from friendlyfront desk staff to unique specials and delicious entrees. Our waitress was a sweetheart and very attentive too. We ordered abunch of the specials (see pics which included a short ribs and scallops appetizer on a bed of cauliflower mash, the carrotginger soup which was phenomenal, the mushroom ricotta truffle ravioli (insane! and the chilean sea bass.
