Giovanni's Pizza - Carta

Don't let the bar part scare you off. It is separate from the restaurant so you can bring children and sit down and eat in a quiet family environment. They deliver locally and are a friendly family business. If you're looking for a laid back local barscene, this seems to be the place where people gather after work.

This is a small local pizza restaurant that I have gotten food from for years. It is part of a bar-pool table set up. Therefore not much ambiance. With that being said, the food is good and reasonably priced. I ordered, today, a 10 pc chicken wings and a small Giovanni pizza. The wings were fresh and good sized. However, the blue cheese was a little watery. I am not complaining!

Worst experience ever. Customer service was terrible. I wish I could give it more stars as I can understand how a small business may be short staffed or whatever the case may be. They definitely could improve in the way the treat new customers because it seemed like they were ok with the ones at the bar area. I do think it seems a bit too much to have the bartender also be the cashier on the restaurant section. Ver carta

Giovanni's slaps, it goes back, it hits the spot okay. There's just a few things, idk if it's GrubHub or them as a company but my orders always have something wrong with it. The last time I ordered from them I ordered cheese fries...without bacon. They put bacon on it- this has happened twice but luckily GrubHub remedied the situation. The eggplant pepperoni pizza is very very good I would say the taste is kind of like a knock off Mr. Pizza. The wings are inconsistent in size but VERY good. One time I got a bunch that were THICC the second time they were a little small. But over all they were delicious. I just wish this place was more consistent- and maybe slightly cheaper.

I really was hoping for something good. I like to support local business. But this was bad. I waited 30 minutes after the projected delivery time and I figured it's Easter weekend so maybe they are slammed. No worries there. But the food. It was not good. The salad was just. Wet. It was just sloppy and wet. The Buffalo chicken tenders. We're literally regular chicken tenders with Buffalo sauce on the side. I was baffled at this. I could have done this with some nuggets and hot sauce on my own here at home. The calzone was ok. It has decent flavor but was undercooked. And the pizza was just way too doughy. Believe the reviews folks. I decided to give this place a chance but man was I wrong.

Located in a central town plaza, nondescript storefronts offering easy accessibility, the large parking lot is usually quiet unless there is a summer concert on the green nearby. We ordered take out and the pepperoni veggie pizza did not disappoint. The crust is on the thicker scale and tppings were substantial. The large single order of eggplant parm was overbreaded, the eggplant was rubbery and sliced thinly although what truly set this dish on the back shelf was its lack of sauce. It displayed dryly. I ordered the fish sandwich with provolone cheese and bacon (lettuce, tomato, bacon, and mayo) along with an orange juice as my drink. The total cost was $12.03. I would rate this meal a 6 out of 10. The service was quick and the restaurant was not crowded. The sandwich was from a deli, so it could have been more customizable with a little more effort. The fish was well seasoned and a large filet, which was complemented by a Portuguese roll. The tomato was a nice touch, but the lettuce was too crunchy for my taste. Ordered for the first (and last) time last night. Food delivery was 45 minutes late. Tried calling the restaurant several times during that 45 minutes, just a constant busy signal. The food finally arrived and was extremely disappointing, even more soconsidering the lateness of arrival. Buffalo Tenders were dry inside and cold and not even sauced, the buffalo sauce was on theside. I had a small garden salad, the lettuce was very wet and had not been dried in a salad spinner. I went there yesterday to order two grinders. Not only are the grinders pricey but being that we were in a rush to get back home which was a hr away we gave a tip. We had no time to settle down and eat so we ate are grinders late which is when we openedthem. When we opened them they had no lettuce no tomato. Not much meat or cheese. I'm 4 months pregnant with twins and alreadywas tired and was anxious for my grinder and that was so disappointing. My husband to go out and buy lettuce and tomatoes to addto our sandwich.
