"First time with filipino food, had no idea what I was ordering. Staff helped out a bit, asked if we wanted the lunch special. Ended up with chicken adobo and eggrolls. Food is good, sauce for eggroll wasnt for me. Will come back and try the other food.Atmosphere was weird, everyone was staring at us. Maybe because we were new there or we looked confused, but couldve done without all the staring down, lol."

Such a hole in the wall, but solid and affordable food. The 100 set of lumpia is less than 40 bucks, and I will be devouring these with my coworkers happily.Food: 5/5

This is a lovely Filipino catering service, restaurant, and bakery. It's a family-owned establishment, and the food is delicious, especially during busy times. I'll definitely return for more when I'm in the area.

Came in for Pandesal, but the people ahead of me took the last one, but left out with pansit and mixed veggies with shrimp. Large portions and a good price. The young lady who helped me was a good conversationalist.Food: 4/5

Small and simple local Filipino mart. Hot breakfast and lunch available (Philippines style not Americanized . Fresh bakery and candy such as Turon, Polvoron, Ensaymadas, Pan de sal, etc. Nothing Beautiful but very Filipino, reminds me of my childhood with Filipino mother and family adult : Ver carta

This place NEVER disappoints. Food is Wonderful. Staff is Super Nice! Tried the greens, pancit, eggrolls and they're just DELICIOUS. Beef Stew w/short ribs is undescribeable. Omg. Tender Juicy. Great with the rice. I Highly recommend this place. Really good inexpensive buffet. Worth the money.

My friend Kababyan, who lives in southwest Houston, brought me to this restaurant because he said one of their standout dishes was the Bangsilog. We ordered two plates, and to keep it brief, it was fantastic! I finished every bite. Haha! I haven't had fried bangus (milkfish) in years, so it was quite a treat. Thank you to my friend and thank you to Godo's. I’ll definitely be back!

"Food good. Location good. Service good. BUT, the hidden charges REALLY ruined an otherwise nice experience. Example: HH menu lists Martinis as a $3 upcharge to the $7 base charge. Fair enough. Bombay is a listed alcohol; requested. When the bill was returned I was charged for a Bombay Sapphire which is not on the HH list. Charge? $11 $3. I asked for Bombay, not Bombay Sapphire. Waiter: Oh, let me look into that. AND, by the way Blue Cheese olives? Extra $1. REALLY? I 've NEVER paid extra for BC olives ANYWHERE. AND the confusing menus that a dish as including an extra sauce, [and I don 't recall the exact language but it made it seem that an additional items could be selected as well. Oops, there goes an extra $10.95. AND, the waiter recommending a twice-baked potato. Bah, boom, another $5.95. [which in fairness is disclosed on the menu in a different location, but waiter made it sound as if it was a no-charge option on the surf and turf. AND the split plate charge which I don 't think was disclosed on the menu. Ding, ding, extra $3.00. Was this a waiter, who was overly up-selling or restaurant deception? Don 't know. As I said, the food WAS good. AND, the ambience [at least in the bar area, stay away of the hotel-ballroom-like main dining area was nice. Just beware the nickel and dime charges that the waiter won 't be disclosing to you."
