"I been eating here for a while. My son loves the sushi there and it’s always nice to go but today was a little different. I have a two year old as well and he has autism which causes him to stim (for the ppl the have no knowledge a stim is a self-regulatory behavior it can be of all types) my son in particular sounds like loud humming (ahhhhhhh). I understand it can be loud but there is nothing I can do to prevent it. He stims in and out not constantly. While waiting for our drinks he was stimming and the waitress approached me and asked me to quiet him because it was “disturbing my(her) customers”. He wasn’t running around, he was sitting on our table writing on a paper. Although I understand it can be loud, he was not doing it intentionally or for a long period of time. The restaurant itself is not a quiet restaurant to begin with. I was able to make him stop by giving him my phone thankfully but what would have been if that didn’t work? I did explain it to her. I just hope she learns something from this. I am not saying she had no right to approach me, just a different way with more respect."

"The food, service, and atmosphere were all quite good, though nothing to get overly excited about. The prices were in line with other restaurants of similar quality. They offer a very large and diverse menu. The grilled sauce on the Western burger was absolutely fantastic. Be sure to check out their food specialties!"

"I have always loved the Chew Chew but have been sequestering myself in my home and in my office for the most part. I've only once had dinner out since May, and then at someone's invitation. A friend who lives in the northern suburbs met me at my home and we had a wonderful dinner at the Chew Chew. She is a cook (not professionally) and raved about the food, not to mention the service. The noise level was what you would expect in any good dinner restaurant, not quiet, but not loud enough to interfere at all in our conversation. The wait person we had was friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We had the Duck Potstickers which were amazing. I've had pot stickers in China and Singapore and lots in the US and they were perfect. Did I say they were perfect? And of course Scott is the perfect host. If you are considering the Chew Chew, don't consider it. Just do it"

"This is the third tapas restaurant we have visited in Chicagoland and it is so far the best. The restaurant has a standard menu and a large daily special menu to keep things interesting. We ordered four tapas plates, two from the standard menu and two from the daily menu. We also ordered a single serving of seafood paella along with two desserts and a few drinks. Menu prices ranged quite widely but expect the bill to be between $100-175 for two depending on drink orders. Everything was very good. If we are going to be picky the beef was slightly under seasoned as was the fish in the paella. The patio was lovely as was the interior seating. The service was fantastic. The waiter was quick to offer recommendations and explained the menu and portion sizes."

"Superb food. The service as well was really great. Our waitress/server Martha was very nice and helpful. They have an extensive menu of cold and hot tapas as well as a wine and cocktails menu and of course paella’s! When we went around on a Friday they had live music and there were couples dancing. It was a great time. In the summer they also have outdoor seating. Their parking lot was a little small but not impossible to find a spot. For of us we ordered tapas and a lot of leftovers that we were happy to take home! I hope you love and enjoy Emilio’s as much as we do!"
