The best wings in the area. Properly cooked not overly seasoned not coated in tons of nasty batter.

Very friendly and homey atmosphere. Extremely friendly owners and staff. Food is out of this world. Try their Pho noodle soup.

My family and I have visited Golden Wok more than 20 times and each visit has been consistently delicious. The owners and staff create a cozy atmosphere and always remember our preferences.

We ordered beef pad thai and shrimp fried rice. The food here is really good, and the guy at the register, who seem like the owner, was really nice and welcoming. It didn’t take that long to get our food.

By far one of my favorite places in town to get pad thai. Their other options are also excellent for the price. They always go the extra mile when you ask for special instructions. If you want something spicy, they aren't afraid to turn up the heat! Ver carta

I really appreciate their excellent customer service. I placed an order with them on DoorDash, but it arrived incorrect. After calling them, they promptly corrected the mistake and had their own delivery driver bring me the correct order. The issue was resolved swiftly and efficiently, and the food was delicious!

I moved to Champaign for college in 2014 and stayed in town for 8 years before moving to LA. While Gwok may not be the most luxurious restaurant, there is something incredibly comforting about their food. I would choose Gwok over any Thai restaurant in LA. Whenever I visit Champaign, I always make sure to eat at Gwok at least once. My top recommendations are the combo fried rice, pad Thai, and Hainan chicken. This family-owned establishment deserves high accolades.

I started going to this restaurant in 2011 with a hope just to find okay Thai food as Urbana-Champaign are not big cities like Chicago where you can find authentic Thai food. But I was surprised how great the food was. I ordered Kana Moo Krob (Chinese broccoli with crispy pork belly) and three flavored fried fish. These dishes were so tasty that I went back there soooooo often (for some other dishes too). How often? Probably over 400 times in 6-7 years I was in Champaign. The owners are super nice.
