Found this place on day one 5 years ago when in South Padre and ate breakfast there everyday. We were so glad to see they survived the pandemic. Breakfast was excellent as well as the service. Must Visit place in South Padre! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent breakfast. Coffee was just ok nothing special just had regular coffee. The server recommended a dish I had never heard of and it was delicious. It doesn't look like much on the outside, but don't let that stop you. Coffee beans are roasted in house, with a great selection available. I had the biscuits and gravy AND the shrimp and grits. We only visited this restaurant because our usual place was closed for renovations, and I’m so glad we did! We've found a new favorite spot on the island (we even returned for breakfast the second morning). It's a charming place with plenty of seating. The coffee selection is excellent; we tried the French Press, Vietnamese coffee, and regular drip, all of which were great. The breakfast options were impressive as well. My wife loved the Migas and ordered it both mornings, while I tried the crab cake benedict one morning (which was good) and a classic two-egg breakfast the next (also tasty).
