Grindstone On The Monon

Delicious food! Fantastic service! We love coming to this gem in Westfield,Indiana.

Our only comment is that restaurant is always freezing! Every time we go. Obviously we like the spot but be prepared. Bring your coat and mittens.

We had 4 people in our group. While my food was really good (Cobb Salad), my husband 's steak tacos were terrible according to him. And he never complains about his food. Disappointing to say the least. Ver carta

The food and service were excellent. We had the chicken and noodles and the short rib dinners. Our appetizers were short rib crustini's and goat cheese bruchetta. Both were outstanding. It's almost a sports bar atmosphere but with a menu that offers more. Would definitely recommend.

Nice place on the Monon! Hadn't visited before, and Grindstone exceeded expectations. Good drinks. Very tasty cheese curds. Highlight of my evening was the Indiana Hot Plate. Crispy and well seasoned tenderloin with green beans and mashed potatoes. Gravy to top it off. Didn't even feel too heavy just delicious. Will be back!

Chose to eat in the bar area. service was excellent. started things off with the fried green tomato appetizer, which i have had before and did not disappoint. so many places overcook and you can’t taste the tomatoes. decided to try the lemongrass chicken. was very good, sizable portion, great flavor. the Orange crème brûlée also excellent. will be back. Had a wonderful lunch in the bar— we all had different selections and everyone was extremely pleased! Anna was our server and as usual she didn’t miss a beat— delivered our food quickly and kept our drinks filled. We love coming here— food and service is always outstanding. My only request— if/when a new menu is considered— perhaps add some additional vegetarian options. Thanks for a lovely lunch!!

I met with friends from college whom I haven't seen in 37 years. The atmosphere was perfect for a small reunion. The menu of comfort food was wonderful! Our server was friendly and attentive without hovering. The restaurant was accessible to my friend who needed special seating. We each ordered something different, and all commented that the food was delicious. Grindstone added to the specialness of our reunion!

We were promptly greeted when we arrived for our reservation. Our table was outside which was our request when we made our reservation. Lauren, our server was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the Salmon Salad. The salad was delicious with fresh strawberries, pecans, asparagus and zucchini bread. The children’s meals of chicken tenders and French fries were amazing. We were very happy with our meals and our attentive server. I highly recommend Grindstone on the Monon for a nice dinner. Ver carta
