"My boyfriend and I love coming here whenever we visit the lake, so much that we’re officially making it a tradition this place is homey and cozy but also classy at the same time. Service is always good, whether we sit at the bar or a table. The most recent time we arrived a little later in the night and we did not feel rushed at all, even fit in dessert (which was a delicious cheesecake with raspberry. Their cocktails are classics with an unexpectedly unique touch. My favorite to get is their bourbon sour with raspberry dust on top. Pizza is cooked to perfection in a brick oven. My only complaint with the sage brown butter bucatini dish is that it was just a touch too crispy on the pasta noodles for my taste, however the flavor of the dish itself and the Italian sausages in it were great! Boyfriend’s ravioli was classically delicious and tasted like home. Overall always a good experience here and would recommend this small town gem to anyone who’s in the area!"

"I've always been a huge fan of Chrissy Beanz both the Sackets location, as well as the newer Watertown location. When booking our dessert vendor for our wedding, it was a no brainer to go with Chrissy Beanz. We decided on assorted desserts for our guests including cookies from Chrissy Beanz. The guests RAVED about the cookies! We also ordered a small wedding cake to cut which I gave Shannon my inspo pic and she and her team brought the image to life (I attached the actual and inspo to this review)! Shannon was extremely easy and flexible to work with and the desserts were reasonably priced. I highly recommend grabbing a bite to eat or drink at either of their locations, but also recommend to anybody looking for a sweet treat at your next event!"

"I got married here on August 12, and it was absolutely wonderful! The food was delicious, the staff was fantastic, and the venue looked stunning! All I had to do was show Vito an example of what I was envisioning, and he and his team pulled everything together perfectly. I couldn't have asked for anything better! My guests had nothing but great things to say about the celebration. I'm so glad I chose to celebrate my special day at the boathouse. It was truly a night to remember! Thank you to all the staff, and a special thanks to Vito for all the hard work you put in with us last year to ensure everything was perfect."

"I had a really bad experience today while dining here. But we have had truly wonderful and memorable food experiences here in the past. Seems like the management and food has changed significantly. We waited for our food with a toddler for over 1.5 hours. My plate arrived with a 3 inch dark hair on top of my home fries. The waitress saw it and said that she would get me a new order of home fries immediately. My husband and daughter's breakfast sandwiches were greasy. A croissant breakfast sandwich doesn't need to have more oil added to it to grill it. They ran out of blueberries for my daughter's blueberry pancake. So it was replaced with 1 slice of French toast cost was $10 The maple syrup wasn't even real but the bill was! It came to almost $100 for barely any food for 2.5 people. Despite the mishaps, the food was sub par at best. It just seems kind of like nasty hotel food. I asked to speak to the manager and waited another 15 minutes for him. He seemed bothered that I was complaining and told me he would see what he could do. I waited another 15 minutes for him to return and when he did he offered me a 15% discount on two of the meals which came to $8 off. And he took the $10 charge off for the 1 piece of french toast that we got in place of the blueberry pancake. Offering us 15% off like it was a grand gesture is really disappointing. Especially while adding another 30 minute wait in order to receive it. That just topped off the whole experience. It seems like there could be an easy fix to not stressing out staff and customers. If a restaurant is running behind due to low staff or an overwhelmed kitchen, then they should have the customers wait longer to get seated. Simple. We would much rather have spend an hour enjoying the town or doing something else. I could hear so many people complaining about the wait. Sadly, the staff seemed stressed. I actually felt bad for our waitress and the staff. We won't be returning to our old favorite restaurant in Sackets Harbor again."

"We haven't eaten in restaurants since Covid. It was so cold yesterday that I said it had to be okay with all the specified requirements. The first was that we sat in a stand and nobody was standing next to us, then after we had our food, another couple sat on us, they were only 1 foot away. The restaurant was also very dirty, the floor was not cleaned long, the table felt sticky and the toilets were disgusting, obviously they are not according to the Kovid cleaning procedures."
