The restaurant was very clean and pleasant, and the waitress was extremely efficient. The food was delicious and we had a wonderful time.

Best fried chicken I've had in a long time!! Really good peach cobbler as well. Very friendly staff! Food was great with a nice variety. Sunday after church atmosphere.

Will always love this place and have to have the baked tomatoes and the little fritters. Add to that all the other home cooked food, the very fresh salad bar, and the atmosphere and thankful they don’t serve alcohol. I come here every time I’m in nashville. I can’t believe it took me so long to discover this gem. Food is great, people are very friendly. The owners work here and they strive to make everyone satisfied (and fat n happy). It’s affordable too and let me tell you it’s worth every nickel snd more.Give them a try; you won’t be sorry.

My partner and I decided to try this restaurant today after noticing it while passing by. If you're in the mood for delicious home-style cooking, this is the place to be! Our server, Alyssa, was extremely friendly. While the restaurant has a slightly old-fashioned atmosphere, the staff made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning.

Forget Golden Corral, if you are looking for some Southern style cooking then Hermitage House Smorgasbord is the place to go! The lunch/dinner buffet bars change everyday (except their fried chicken and fish). The atmosphere gives off your grandma's house feel and the it smells wonderful inside! last week I brought a group of 35 traveling to the hermitage house and could not be satisfied anymore. the staff was friendly and competent. we were treated like family! and eating was wonderful, especially the chicken, the fish and the steamed mix of vegetables. we all wanted the recipes! we had especially happy that the nashville hitman trio appeared there; they are sooo talented. Thank you. hermitage house for a beautiful evening!

Kristy is one of the sassiest waitresses I have ever encountered. That’s a compliment. We caught them on a day when they had just catered a major event, and the staff was exhausted. The manager went around to every table and asked every single person if they were doing OK and apologized profusely for the wait on the fried chicken (which is worth the wait). Also enjoyed this random chicken green bean casserole thing that didn’t even have a name.

I didn't know what to expect when my sister and I visited the Hermitage House Smorgasbord. The hot bar has separated with a salad buffet, hot bar, and dessert bar. I had my fill of catfish and pork chops. They were amazing! My belly wasn't big enough to try all that was offered. My sister was very pleased with the fried chicken. I had the green beans, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and slaw. All were delicious. The southern hospitality was great! Ver carta
