"We had a reservation at 6pm to give us time for an 8pm show. This very rude, sourpuss girl seated us in the ugly restaurant side where we waited 30 minutes for a cocktail. They said they were busy because of multiple events in town...so then staff up. Anyway, 30 minutes for a cocktail later, we ordered the hummus plate and a veggie sandwich not super complicated. By the time we left we had only gotten the hummus and had to cancel the rest of our order (this is now 7:35pm). An hour and a half for a drink and hummus. Our final bill consisted of the items that we did NOT get. Overall, just terrible service and no one had the decency to acknowledge it and just kept smiling at us we've all worked in restaurants, admit when it's crazy and do what you can to make it right. We heard good things from friends about this place but there is no way I will ever go back there."

cocktails here are amazing. I didn't try to eat that, but it's a atmosphere I was looking for on my trip. it's a good place to sit down and catch up with someone.

Six of us for dinner on a Friday night. Not busy. Appetizers were great. Dinner was good. My Salmon was a little over cooked but taste was good. Dessert was good. Great service.

Hello OpenTable, our Fargo, ND, HoDo, reservation was a very bad experience. My wife and I made a reservation on your app, we were super excited to go, we dressed, we came and the doors were locked. A sign says the restaurant was closed for a private party. Why would you even accept our reservation??

It was a slow night the service was ok. When we walked in there was no one to greet us the booth tables were uncomfortable. The table base was large and uncomfortable to sit at. The food menu didn’t look great for the prices, we got a drink an appetizer and left. The live keyboardist was a little distracting and loud. Overall it wasn’t a bad place just not what we were looking for that night

they have vegan labels next to their vegan options. there are very few, but their zucchini sandwich is delicious! it is grilled zucchini, tomaten, spinat, and avocado on a Ciabatta beer and a kind of vegan sauce/spread. it was so hearty and deep and tasteful. $11 and comes with a fries. I'd get it back. the service was slow and they were not even very busy, but I would say it is worth noting if you are not in a hurry. Ver carta

Our food , though plentiful, was bland and without character, a fact that I'm certain the chef could easily have rectified if our server, whose name I unfortunately don't know, had bothered to ask how our a la cart salads were, or how our entrees were, or how our desserts were. Regrettably, he did none of those things so that overall, HoDo was a culinarily unimpressive, though moderately expensive, dining experience where we were treated more like a nuisance than welcome guests. We will not return.

Overall great experience, was concerned after reading other reviews about slow service and disappointing food. But our server was great, it was attentive and cheerful mainly because it was one of only two servers we could see working. The restaurant is not too big and it was not super busy on a Saturday night surprising. Food tasted delicious, we ordered from the sandwich and burger section of the menu that was quite cheap. Dinner lures on the menu but were on the expensive side that I felt was not justified because the restaurant presentation and atmosphere simply did not reconcile fine restaurants, staff and customers were all casually dressed, I felt dressed in my blazer and dark jeans en...

"While in Fargo Moorhead for Rare Beer Picnic, I made sure to get out of bed to join other craft beer nerds for the release of Double Barrel Aged King Size and Double Barrel Aged Midnight Spider at Junkyard Brewing. Rather than getting the bottles and running back to the hotel, I chose to sit and enjoy myself with a few half pours of their amazing beers in addition to chomping down a bigger plate of popcorn that I probably needed. Double Barrel Aged King Size: A Peanut Stout aged in two consecutive sets of freshly dumped Willet bourbon barrels, and then transferred to a new set of freshly dumped Willet bourbon barrels. Through the double barrel aging I get a lot of barrel character including licorice, oak, and bitter chocolate that plays well with the roasted nut flavors that are strong in the non barrel aged version. King Size is my favorite PB Stout, and this brought out a TON of complex flavors not in the OG. Double Barrel Aged Midnight Spider: An Imperial Stout double barrel aged in the same manner as DBA King Size. The base stout was brewed with roasted barley and conditioned on cocoa nibs, black walnuts, and marshmallow. The base beer is tasty in its own right, but the aging brings out the Rocky Road Ice Cream feel even more with some maple, oak, and vanilla flavors accentuated. Mild bitterness shown more think dark bakers chocolate and roasted nut. Wicked Awesome Slurry: An Imperial Double IPA hopped with Eureka and El Dorado. High haze, fluffy body mouthfeel from Wheat additions, and high tropical juice and bitterness. The name doesn't lie this is some wicked awesome slurry of dankness and citrus. ____________________"
