"First time visiting this restaurant was a pleasant surprise, although I was disappointed to find out about the price increase. The new special is now $25, with additional toppings costing $5, up from the former $3.50. The pizza sauce is obviously homemade and can vary in spiciness, so next time I will ask for a brighter red sauce. The ingredients were very good and fresh. I could only eat one slice and my mother had half a slice for dinner! Forget about the stale pizzas from Pizza Hut and Dominos, and instead opt for all-natural, locally-owned, family-operated pizza places. Buying from and supporting small independent businesses is important. I'll definitely be coming back here again."

The food service at this restaurant is excellent! In my opinion, the pizza, salads, and desserts are the best in town. The food is always fresh and the portions are generous. The house-made desserts are amazingly delicious. I highly recommend Homegrown Pizza! Ver carta

We dined in and had the best customer service of our lives! Really enjoyed the waitress's positive vibes even though she was busy. The food was also delicious. The house salad was decently sized and had lots of yummy veggies other than lettuce. The caprese pizza was also phenomenal! Highly recommend for the amazing service, quaint atmosphere and delicious pizza!

Fantastic experience , ordered a large pizza (20 and two sandwiches. Steak Philly Hogie and a Chicken Parmesan Panni with homemade chips. Both sandwiches were fantastic, homemade chips were cooked just right. Super friendly staff, young lady suggested I try the Nutter Butter peanut butter cookies. They were excellent . Most baked goods are homemade and looked fantastic.

After hearing about the Crab Rangoon Pizza speciality, he was intrigued and decided to give it a try. This unique combination could have gone either way, but it turned out to be a perfect blend of flavors without any overwhelming ingredients. While not your typical pizza, we were pleasantly surprised by this homemade creation and would definitely recommend trying it again next time we are in the area. Ver carta

Homegrown is out of the way, but it is worth the drive from anywhere! The staff is uber friendly, and the pizza? Get outta here! It is SPECTACULAR! Whomever comes up with the ideas for the specialty pizzas is a mad scientist!! (I MEAN THAT IN THE BEST POSSIBLE WAY, IT IS A COMPLIMENT) The Brisket pizza was absolutely phenomenal! The Rueben pizza was so absolutely on !!! The desserts are to die for! Love this place, and I am pretty sure you will too!

"You’re stuck in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, a small town that’s mostly known for its universities and hospitals. Let’s be honest: it’s not exactly a culinary hotspot. As your stomach grumbles, you brace yourself for yet another meal that’s just meets the edible variety. But then, while aimlessly scrolling through Google, you stumble upon a place called Volcano Japanese Restaurant. Your initial thought? It’s probably as exciting as a sushi spot in West Virginia could be? Right? WRONG. Upon arrival, you step inside, and suddenly, it’s like you’ve been teleported to Legitsville, West Virginia. Population: you. The menu is a treasure map of sushi delights, authentic Japanese dishes, and intriguing drinks. Feeling adventurous, you order the Spider-Man 3 roll, fully expecting some cheesy, gimmicky sushi experience. Instead, what arrives is a giant masterpiece of crab meat, tempura shrimp, and other flavors so divine that you consider composing a haiku on the spot. Eager for more, you decide to leave some room for a second course and opt for the chicken teriyaki with rice. The portion is just right, and the flavors? Think blended, voluptuous, and savory. As you glance over at the next table, you spot diners receiving their order on what looks like a miniature carved bridge covered in sushi rolls. That’s when you realize you’ve discovered a true culinary gem, a hole-in-the-wall that’s actually a 5 out of 5 sushi palace. A spot you will be coming back to and raving to the homies about. The service? Top-notch. The waitress was so attentive, it was as if she could read your mind. The prices are shockingly reasonable for such high-quality food and an atmosphere that feels like a mini-vacation to Japan. So, if you’re currently lost in the void of Google searches, desperately seeking your next meal, stop everything. Make your way to Volcano Japanese Restaurant, and prepare for a dining experience that’s nothing short of explosive."
