"I ordered the combination spicy rice, and it was absolutely fantastic! I prefer simple dishes and enjoy trying different places to find the best. I can confidently say that I would travel across the city just for their combination fried rice with shrimp, beef, and chicken. The hot sauce looked like soy sauce, but it had its own unique flavor that made the dish perfect. I can only imagine that the rest of the menu is just as good!"

I decided to try this restaurant based on its excellent reviews, but I encountered a few problems. My order was missing the vegetable egg rolls and lemon iced tea. Moreover, the shrimp and broccoli dish tasted stale and appeared to be undercooked. Ver carta

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"

"Oriole remains our #1 restaurant in Chicago, though several other are only small notches behind and we haven't tried Ever yet. The food that Chef Sandoval and his team creates is sublime—amazing layers of aroma, flavor, and texture that never fight, but create beautiful melodies and harmonies. The staff is warm, knowledgeable, and a joy to have around. The new, post-lockdown menu is as good, perhaps better, than any from before. Sadly, the capacity is greatly restricted by current health and safety requirements, but they will eventually be back to full capacity and more people can enjoy this great restaurant."

"Everything was delicious! But, my goodness the attention the staff paid was just the best. We had a reservation and ended up having to wait 15-20 minutes for our table, and they comped us a round of drinks for the inconvenience. Thank you for taking care of us! And, the live jazz on Saturday night was amazing!"

"So this is one of the newer in string of restaurants owned by the same company that owns RPM Italia, an old great in River North part of the city. The Seafood restaurant is one of many River side restaurants but exceptional as it is the best among the River side restaurants in the city offering a Patio seating as well as indoor seating. From the Patio you get unparelled views of the city and it’s skyline reflecting the Chicago River. The food is no less and exceptional. It is an umarlet place so be ready to run a high bill here. But for a Fine Dinning experience it is a great choice!"
