"This place is off the hook. Amazing people. Amazing food and great culture. Small but really good family oriented place. While we are having our meals about 4-5 times they came to us and ask if we need anything or how is everything. Great job team. Hands down for the great job. Good quality food. "We were so lucky to find this place. Driving home to California from Central Texas, searching for somewhere to eat in Amarillo, and we were loving it from the first taste of Shrimp Gumbo (which was so good my wife bought a bowl, to go). We ordered the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese with fries, and added a side of Mac and Cheese. Our friends ordered the Shrimp Gumbo, and the Shrimp Étouffée. The Gumbo was delicious from bite one that was shared with everyone, seasoned perfectly and full of flavor. That first taste only created an excitement for our food to be brought to the table. The Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese is not a traditional Grilled Cheese, it was on a soft roll (I 'm not sure what kind), but my first bite was so good, the pork is so tender, I just wanted more of everything. The fries were perfect (with and without ketchup), well seasoned and crispy. The Shrimp Étouffée (yes I Googled the spelling), was given to our slowest eater, and it was so good he was the first to finish his meal, he said he loved every bite, and thought the one piece of shrimp she got to try was amazing.We didn 't get to speak to Chef Ron, but we did get to talk to his wife Tina, who was working the front, she was so nice, and her staff were very cute, and so helpful. If we lived in Amarillo we would be eating there all the time.Well done Chef Ron (and family), we will definitely make sure to stop by next time we are in town."

"First time here and AMAZING customer service. Very sweet people. The food… SO SO GOOD!!! Probably the BEST combo fried rice I have had in Amarillo. We got 1 chicken friend rice and 1 combo friend rice with an order of egg rolls and spring rolls. Our total was $30. Such good price!!!"

"Just had dinner at 585, and noticed the service has dwindled a bit. We observed one server eating behind the bar as she served customers . We noticed because we were sitting at the bar. The sever was also wrapping the silverware as she was taking in a spoon full a friends blizzard from Dairy Queen All being witnessed as they were both behind the bar. It is of course understood that employees take a break, so I would hope they have a break room for that. Redirection would benefit all!"

"When it comes to eat and food over there it is awesome one thing that I love the most is their hamburgers I mean it is juicy the service over there is really good they really treat you like family over there and give you dignity and respect so I go over there a lot of times with my brother-in-law and there are times that he buys me tea or coffee and they bring it out and it is nice and cold and refreshing I appreciate the people over there in the management the owners even the workers over there especially the cook so you guys keep up the good work you guys are awesome."
