"Just because I cannot leave 0 stars. First off my sister called in a to go order 20-25 minutes prior to me arriving and I still waited for 25 minutes for the pot stickers that did not make it on my order. I paid and still left a tip. Now I live 20 minutes outside of town so I drove home and handed the food over to my hungry 3 year old and pregnant sister. After about 1 minute I hear my sister say she found a hair in her food, the chicken was over cooked and our pot stickers were burnt. I called the man to get my money back for the dinner we would not be eating and I was questioned on how long and what type of hair. He went back and forth for a minute and we decided to come 20 minutes back to town to show him the hair and get our money back. Let me add that this hair was fried to a crisp in the sauce that it had been cooked in... After the man was out right rude to my sister I stepped in and said it was not okay no matter it was an Asian hair (his words not mine) or and freaking animal hair that is just unacceptable. He refunded 70% of our meal after only offering 50%. Worst service/food I 've ever had and I 've lived in Grants Pass my whole life."

Salmon was deliciously fresh, and the Udon Soup was so savory and mouth-watering.

Normally I would steer clear of Chinese food in Grants Pass I've eaten at the Hong Kong in GP and it left something to be desired for me.

Wow, the food at this restaurant was fantastic and very fresh. We have discovered our new favorite Chinese food spot! The prices are reasonable and the portions are just right - not so much that you end up taking home multiple boxes of leftovers. Ver carta

Every food I try is amazing. with the exception of their shrimps in lobster sauce) Your lunch specialities are very cost-effective with very large portions. My husband hates Chinese food, so we never went. He loves her solitary chicken. Now I have to eat all the time. And can even afford to take the children! Seriously better than Panda?!

I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years and my favorite drink is Thai iced tea. I love the sushi specials, especially the Super Star Lion King roll, as well as the Mongolian beef and orange chicken. The prices are good and it's a friendly family restaurant. I highly recommend that people try it out, as the food is really, really good.

"100% true story. We got takeout here last night (they only offer takeout). I’m from Seattle and have many choices for amazing Thai. I wasn’t expecting much and Ban Mai beat expectations. There’s only fives things you need to know about this place 1. Garlic. 2. Garlic. 3. Garlic. 4. Garlic. 5. Garlic. When we pulled up and parked 100 ft from the door and got out of the car my first thought was “Garlic”. My wife went in and got the food and put it in the back seat. Garlic. We went to our room at the Hampton. Carrying it in to our room I said to my wife “our room is going to smell like garlic”. The green papaya salad had about a half bulb of raw garlic. I really liked it, was above average for what we get in Seattle. My beef with vegetables over wide noodles was intense garlic and pretty good, probably average for Seattle. My wife wasn’t very crazy about her stir fried vegetables with deep fried tofu (it was drowning in sauce).A couple hours after dinner my wife had to get something from the car. When she got in the elevator with two other people they immediately began talking about a strong odor. My wife didn’t say anything as they finally decided it was a smell of garlic coming from someone who brought takeout to their room. The last thing she heard them say as she got off the elevator was “I hope it was better for them than for us”.I’d say it was."
