The food was mediocre. The menu items listed sounded great but the taste didn't match up to the descriptions.

We had a wonderful time celebrating a friend’s birthday after seeing a play at the Ross Valley Player’s Barn! The service was great and all five of us loved our meals!!

Service was very slow which caused us to eat fast as the restaurant was closing. We arrived on time but again service was slow. Food was not very interesting or presented well. Drinks were fine. I'll go gain but service and food needs to improve.

Il Fornaio is a perennial favorite, but this time I was a bit disappointed. Little things, like the volcano cake was not warm, and the appetizer came out at the same time as the main courses. Still yummy and fun, but not the usual exceptional I am used to. Ver carta

best seasonal ravioli I have ever had- ricotta/spinach with a thin but creamy and zesty lemon/caper sauce. I barely got any since everyone at our table needed to just try it Although it is located in a mall, food reliably very good, and inside design really has you believing you are in Italy! I love this place

Everything about our evening was nice, except ...... the waiter interrupted our conversation several times. He was trying to be attentive, but he did not have the ability to wait until one of the 4 of us was finished speaking before he interrupted us with his questions or comments. Better training for him would be helpful.

The calamari was undercooked and tough, with a lackluster marinara sauce. I wished it had been served with aioli instead, but unfortunately, I couldn't continue eating after just three bites. The ricotta torte looked appealing but was lacking in flavor, as the large amount of ricotta cheese was overpowering. The portion size was small, and I could only manage one bite. My husband also didn't enjoy his sausage pizza, which is unusual as he usually eats everything. Even he could only finish two slices. Thankfully, the vodka pasta was still as good as always.
