"The family is extremely kind and hospitable. Food is amazing and presentation of everything was beautiful. Pancakes were amazing and do not need syrup. Lamb and eggs with homemade bread is phenomenal. Homemade red sauce is an amazing complement. Hot chocolate was beautifully presented and not shared by my partner (I was told it was amazing). Turkish coffee with cardamom was perfect. Small space for operations so be patient and it is worth a wait if you have time. Outdoor seating heated and fully covered. 10/10 will be back."

"Unfortunately, I wouldn’t consider returning to Ploy's. We spent over $60 on takeout for two, but the quality just didn’t meet expectations. We paid extra for shrimp in the salad rolls, yet there was hardly any shrimp to be found. The pineapple fried rice had very little chicken in it, and the Drunken Noodles were both pricey and bland. It’s disappointing because this was our second visit, and I had much better memories from the first. The prices are too high for the subpar quality. Since we opted for takeout, I won't comment on the atmosphere, but the staff member who handled our order was friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long. I just wish the food had been better."

"Karam offered a great Groupon deal for a weekday lunch for two, so we stopped in last week to give them a try. You can tell the store is geared more towards take out and counter service, but they do have a few tables. The deal was for 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, and 2 desserts. I opted for salads, chicken kabob, chicken shawarma wrap, a chocolate dessert, and a baklava. Service was friendly but extremely slow...looooong wait for my food. I assume we ended up with something other than the kabob, as that container had only chunks of chicken and rice, no onions or peppers my favorite part . The shawarma wrap was huge and on a great pita, but unfortunately was barely warm. Both dishes had great flavor though. Neither of us was a fan of either dessert, just not our taste. Not the best visit, but not bad...we certainly didn't go hungry. Always nice to try new places, especially with great Groupon deals."

"I don't visit Beaverton very often, but when I'm nearby and want a meal that matches the quality of Portland's offerings, I head to Tan Tan. This restaurant arguably serves the best Pho Ga in the metro area. The salad rolls are also incredibly tasty, packed with fresh, flavorful herbs in every bite!"

"Family owned great food, great prices My husband found this place and he was craving Puerto Rican food. We used to eat at this place in Santa Rosa, so he searched and found a recommended restaurant in Beaverton, Boriken! Happy we stopped by to check this place out. They are family owned and celebrating their 10th anniversary woo! I like the interior. It's bright and decorated with a tropical island feel reflecting the culture. The walls have photos of the family and history. I like places like this. Their menu is easy to navigate and not overwhelming for a first time diner. I ordered a plate with yellow rice and chicken, beans, and plantains. I was indecisive with sweet or fried plantains, so the waiter suggested I do both. My 6yr old ordered a small side of sweet plantains and a small side of cornmeal sticks. My husband had the small mofongo. I loved what I had. It was very filling too! Sweet plantains are SO good and the fried plantains are delicious as well. I loved that they weren't oily and had a good crisp to it. My daughter ended up wanting my fried plantain even though she really enjoyed the sweet version too. She likes this place. My husband devoured the mofongo. I may get that next time too. We tried their vinegar sauce on the table and it tastes pretty good, not spicy! Service is great. We enjoyed our food and plan to come back again. Parking is right out front designated for customers. Bathroom is for customers only. because they're celebrating their 10th anniversary, some of their dishes (like mine) are $2 off."
