"originally the restaurant had lost our reservation (on rezy? . but since I could show my open table confirmation (where I had booked it, they have accommodated us with a nice table in the garden tent. the service was excellent! and the food was delicious! great wine list also! my only complicity is that they gave me exactly 2 Brussel spies with my food. so 4 lamb couplings and 2 Brussels spikes seem a little unbalanced. maybe twice as sweet? otherwise a really great experience!"

"This is a really neat place. The building is a summer type cottage with no frills. I had a rack of ribs, and quite honestly they were probably the best ribs which I have ever had, with just the right amount of smoke and sauces. They were so tender you could eat them with a fork and knife. Boston residents will remember the old "meat falls off the bone" commercials for a famous Boston rib place. The fried fish looks great. My wife had a mixed greens salad with sliced steak, and she really enjoyed it. Our kids visited this diner several times for breakfast and they enjoyed the pancakes and other dishes very much. If you have young kids there is a nice outdoor area for them to run around an enjoy. For the Vineyard, the prices are reasonable. The service was excellent too. Very enjoyable meal"

"This place is clearly very popular because there was a queue outside the restaurant before it opened for 5:30 p.m. dinner service on a very rainy Saturday night. Once open, the restaurant quickly filled up with diners. Tables tend to be closer together because of how busy it gets, and there are a lot of hard surfaces, meaning things can get a little loud. Service was the right level of attentive: staff were very friendly and they were good about clearing plates and utensils when it’s clear diners are done eating. The daily fish specials are posted on a chalkboard inside. Overall, the food was very good. The buffalo brussel sprouts with whipped blue cheese were very good but for $18? Feels steep. My husband enjoyed his tuna, which was served like an elevated poke bowl and had Asian influences. I got the seared cut cod special, and enjoyed the sweet corn and mushroom risotto that came on the side: it was appropriately warm and cozy feeling for the rainy day, and brightened by the bursts of sweet freshness from the corn."

"We often take the expression fine dining with a pinch of salt when used by the restaurant to describe themselves......but, there is no question that this beautiful little restaurant, tucked away in the corner of an exquisite mall in Edgartown, MV fits the bill and then some. The rooms (smallish main, bar area, various outdoor seating options, are all intimate and very comfortable. The service is both professional and warm, and unusually enthusiastic about the chef 's abilities. I have a feeling that you could order almost anything on the menu and be delighted beyond your expectations. We had some scallops that were a delicious appetizer, and they were an appetizer not meal killer. The braised short ribs were like butter, and the flavors of the ribs and the accompanying risotto were subtle and delicious. We wish the were closer to were we lived (San Diego) a reason to return to Martha 's Vineyard. Do NOT miss this place if you visit Edgartown, and reserve well in advance."

"With brunch-themed cocktails and Eggs Benedict on the menu, this breakfast spot was perfect for me. There are only two tables in front of the restaurant, so I decided to relax on the porch in a rocking chair while waiting for the other diners to finish. We arrived around 10:30, just after the breakfast rush, and it was pleasantly quiet. The interior is charmingly decorated, giving off a small-town restaurant vibe with trinkets and bookshelves. The back of the restaurant features a larger seating area, including an enclosed screened area for additional dining. I ordered Hank’s White Sangria and the Classic Eggs Benedict, both of which were delicious. Overall, I was very happy with my experience. Our server, Lamb, was incredibly sweet, and everything was served promptly. I took the MV Shuttle from Oak Bluffs, getting off at the Stop Shop stop, and Lucky Hank’s was just a quick walk across the street. It’s a fantastic place!"
