"Gai 'N Rice has never failed to disappoint me in every meal I have had here. Each rice plate is portioned well, has great flavor, and leaves you satisfied that you are glad you ordered what you got. I get the Take2, and swap out the lean meat for dark meat. The combination of the crispy chicken and the flavorful dark meat, along with the soybean sauce and sweet chili sauce, gives the dish so much flavor to play with. Additionally the plate comes with a small bowl of broth that is just so refreshing. I 've had the Thai Coffee and Thai Tea here as well. It 's not too strong on the coffee or tea flavor, but it also isn 't just diluted by the dairy they use. I enjoy it a lot if I 'm having it in the afternoon. Gai 'N Rice is my favorite comfort meal within the Sacramento area and I would implore anyone who hasn 't had it yet to go and try it."

"just one of the best experiences we had! we had lucky enough to sit valentineday evening dinner reservations for the cooks table from the moment we went, we were impressed by everything. staff: very friendly, attentive, 10/10! each individual person has made us feel at home and everyone seemed happy to be there what is a hard-found! chef chris's team were all amazing with him crafts. he explained every court that the whole team was synchronized when every court was out. chris gave a great explanation from each court informed us how he came to the creation of every court etc. we have eaten many “good restaurants”, but that was something else. every court that came out, we caught ourselves saying, "This is the best and so I have ever had" my favorite was the otopus. I had never cooked anything like it- with perfection! localis is an experience for me, not only “Dinner”. it's expensive if they're looking for dinner only, but if they ever want to have a 12-course dinner experience from an amazing cook, localis is probably the best place to do it in sacramento. will be back in future definitiw! thanks to the whole staff!"

"The best mongolian beef, it is a very busy restaurant and that tells you one thing the food is good and so is the service, my wife is Vietnamese, and if she loves it you know it's Good. The only thing I wish is they had pictures of every thing they serve I can look at it and order it accordingly, but I know one thing the Mongolian beef is the best I've ever had"

"I had 3rolls and 1 appetizer. Very delicious krokket(potato fries) with takoyaki sauce. Zigzag roll (green) has soft shell crab with cream cheese. I wish they put a little more cream cheese, though. Sexy angel roll is pretty interesting. A spicy tastekicks you with other sauce and it’s very good. Blue jinsai something roll is fun to watch. They ignite the roll but the onlyrice gets warm and fishes are totally still fresh. Generally pretty good. The only reason i gave 4 stars is their rice is toosticky. If the rice would better, i’m willing to try this place again."

"Sitting in the heated patio we were super cozy as we rolled through hamachi crudo, and tots, into our our whole grilled chicken with Brussels sprouts. Every plate progressed seamlessly into the next with our final course of butterscotch miso pudding and chocolate chili gelato. All the tiny details of each plate elevated the experience…. From the cranberry ponzu mandarins with the hamachi , the rich smokey mole and cilantro micro greens with the tots, the orange brittle with the brussel sprouts, the charred orange halves with ultra moist and tender chicken, to the candied sunchoke with charred pineapple For the butterscotch miso pudding. Every plate and cocktail glass of wine was on point. Such tremendous value for the food and service we received. We walked away feeling like we robbed the place."
