Excellent! Stopped in during lunch rush on a Friday during a long road trip. Seated quickly, prompt friendly service, high quality food! Brisket and catfish were delicious as well as the chocolate cream pie!!!

Just moved to Alabama from Washington state a few weeks ago and this was our first taste of southern BBQ, it was divine. Delicious pulled chicken and pork, as well as their brisket. My girlfriend loved her baked potato, and their cheddar biscuits were tasty too. Staff was kindly and attentive, location was clean and our food came pretty quick. I just want to say that Gardendale JNN has stepped up their game for me personally! The lady named Whitney that I talked to on the phone helped me so much and knew what she was talking about it. Let alone was so friendly and personable with me, which I feel like that’s how restaurants should be. I just want to say thank you Whitney for all the help you did for me. I will be back to see her for sure!

Got there at 3:45 went to sign in was told 45-1 hour wait cause of shift change they 30 empty tables i handy cap can’t stand that’s why we come early. Was told no place to seat down. I ask if we could set in empty table and just wait No. I said I couldn’t stand. You lost our business plus 3 other groups that heard what we were told. I added up the amount of other people beside us 14 customers walked out add that up

We always enjoy going to Jim n Nick's when we're in Birmingham. Yes sometimes it's crowded and you have to wait for a table but it's worth it. The Cheese biscuits are so so good! My mouth is watering just thinking about them. If you like sweet tea, Jim n Nick's has great sweet tea! And the BBQ, well it just depends how you like it: on a sandwich, in your stuffed potatoe, on the bone, off the bone, regular sauce, white sauce, they have it ALL. If you're looking for a salad, come hungry because they're huge! And fantastic. My favorite is the Southern chopped with grilled chicken. And IF you have room for dessert, you gotta have the banana pudding. It's so creamy and yummy. And if not, get some... Ver carta
