Joan's In The Park - Carta

Visited on a summer evening in 2019 on a trip to MN for a family wedding; I still think about what a wonderful experience we had! Idyllic, welcoming, elegant.

We celebrated my partner's birthday with the most delicious meal and atmosphere. The food was carefully perfect and the drinks were delicious. Joan herself greeted us and made the experience hospitality forward.

Fantastic dinner and wine pairings! Great place for a date. I took my girlfriend and she was beyond impressed. We had an amazing experience all around. Staff is very helpful and nice. Always on my list when I'm back in town. Ver carta

We have been huge fans since the opening, and can think of no other restaurant more deserving of not only 5 Google Stars, but as many Michelin Stars as we could give. The commitment to quality ingredients, amazing cuisine and consistently superb service earns them all that and more.

We had a lovely birthday dinner there yesterday. There were excellent little touches that made the evening seemless and delightful in addition to delicious food and wonderful service. We compared it on tge way home with what other fine dining in the twin cities ought to be like and will return in the future!

One of the best meals I've had, easily. To start, the service was good, courteous, easy, helpful...everything you could want in a staff. But the food really was the star. My party tried most of the items on the menu and nothing but positive reviews. Meat cooked and seasoned perfectly, dishes were clean and well-composed, and the sauce game was on point. Ver carta

I'll be blunt; This place is damn expensive but very worth it. If you're going to do the tasting course I emplore you to please add on the wine pairing with it. Every tasteful and perfectly crafted dish went so well with each wine. There were so many fun items to choose from for the four courses. Each section of your meal will definitely have something you can pick that you'll fall in love with.

After all these years we finally got to Joan’s in the Park. Coming from Plymouth I guess I would call Joan’s a hidden gem but with the dining room being full, I guess it’s not hidden at all! Our server Dan was full of wonderful suggestions and insights. The food is delicious and the service superb! We paid our bill and slipped out the front door and the owner chased after us outside just to say thank you for coming! Who does that? Definitely we’ll be back!

Quite possibly the nicest family that are there own staff of all the restaurants I've ever been to. Each item or drink in the flight they were passionate about. I ordered the cheese bread, but when i tasted the onion roll that was my favorite. 2nd course I got the speck with figs which was my favorite. Others got the quinoa, but i don't care for beets, however the salad with walnuts had a surprise tasty mousse that took a close second place on flavor. 3rd course I did the leeks and egg, and the was a surprise dark horse and probably my favorite of the evening. I don't love lobster, but i tried that course and was impressed with the dressing, and would recommend for any seafood lovers. Finall... Ver carta
