It took 1 hour for the steak to come out and the taste was too overpowering too salty). Service was decent. For that kind of price, they need to improve.

Service was great and staff was very helpful in making recommendations. The experience and food was definitely worth the price! Parking: Parking is paid but the restaurant validates the ticket so it's actually free.

Food was excellent. The best part was the service! For me, I prefer a cozy feel in a steakhouse, but maybe I am old school. Their whiskey bar as that feeling. Definitely will return. Great special occasion restaurant. Ver carta

Came with big stomachs and high expectations. Down to the T everything was spectacular. Well done and will definitely be back! My husband and I ordered rib eyes which were cooked to perfection. You really can’t go wrong at this place!

Took my son here to celebrate his 4.0 GPA in high school. He earned this meal! Our server, Alex was excellent. He was professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and helped make the experience worthy of the occasion. Our food choices included the bread service, oysters, the 45 day aged ribeye, the Australian Wagyu ribeye, truffle fries, broccoli, and cheesecake for dessert. The standout steak was the 45 day ribeye with its incredibly concentrated, beefy flavor. The Australian Wagyu was a close second due to it's luxurious texture. Both great choices and a nice contrast. Thank you to Alex and team for making this father/son dinner memorable and special.

Party of 4 enjoyed an excellent meal. Service was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, the kitchen had only 1 serving of the peach/burrata salad left available, so two of the three people that ordered it at our table had to order something else when the waiter returned with that news. Also a nearby table had what looked to be a 18-24 month old baby in a highchair (along with their presumptive parents) that would occasionally let out a very loud and high pitched scream/squeal. For the price we/people pay to eat here, it is expected that the food and atmosphere and service to be good dining at John Howie. However, our experience with the reservation/table/support to dine there for celebrating wife's birthday was disappointed. With a reservation for 4, we got seated at a rectangle table that allow to sit at 3 sides so two of us needed to squeeze at one side. We complained that there are few tables available for four and why can't they sit us there. They said those tables are reserved but we also had reservation for four. Was a dream of mine for years to go here and try the Japanese A5 Wagyu, so my mom made a reservation for yesterday. The service was impeccable. We went there and celebration of my friend's birthday. Wanted to take her someplace special, to one of the best steakhouses in the area. I ended up selecting THE best steakhouse in the area. Our server was outstanding. Started the evening off with a warm greeting, introducing himself and then offered to give us a brief overview of the menu which we accepted.
