"Heard such great things about this restaurant so my bf booked it for our anniversary, little did I know that I would be leaving the restaurant engaged. They coordinated with him and had everything booked and planned even for the piano player to play andsing the sing Will you marry me? I sobbed like a baby I was so shocked as I didn 't suspect anything. The staff were absolutelyamazing ????, kind, loving, friendly, they helped to make the perfect night that I will never ever forget. The food wasabsolutely scrumptious, the mushrooms ???? soup was the best we 've had ever and we 've travelled all over the world ????. Themain was mouth watering, I had the pork chop and he had the salmon and both were just not short of amazing. The wine and drinkslist was also great. I think this restaurant and staff leaves an experience of a lifetime and I 'd definitely recommend it manytimes over. It 's classy, sophisticated and a wonderful warm atmosphere. Pop in and have a wonderful time you certainly will notbe disappointed. 10/10 for me 5 Rating from me. Thanks so much again for my very very special night."

"So disappointed ! This was my first order form Bek's, although my mother has eaten there in house, and said it was good. We decided to get delivery from Slice. It took longer than they stated on the app, the order arrived cold, and our dessert was missing. I will never use Slice again, and would only try Bek's again if we were to eat it there. Evidently, it does not travel well. And skip the cheese sticks. Cold, dry and bland. The frozen ones from the grocery are better.I updated my initial stars to 3 because leftover, the pizza wasn't bad once reheated). I didn't give 4 or 5 because the cheese sticks were pretty bad and the delivery was incredibly slow. If you are busy, let customers know so they can decide to come pick up the food instead of waiting well over the promised time for cold food."

"All my kids had to say was "Yum!" We started with the homemade garlic bread with cheese and Alfredo sauce for dipping as our appetizer. It was perfectly crispy and had just the right amount of garlic flavor. I ordered a small margherita pizza topped with mozzarella and basil. It came loaded with tomatoes and garlic, and it was absolutely delicious! My son chose a cheese pizza, and all the kids agreed it was scrumptious. They kept dipping their pizza in the Alfredo sauce. Two of the kids ordered pizza pockets, not realizing how big calzones can be! They happily dug in, enjoying each bite alongside the marinara sauce. They also liked it with the Alfredo sauce! The last child opted for the lasagna, which was rich and tasty with plenty of sauce and cheese. I wish we had room for dessert, but we were all too full, although we had plenty to take home! They provided us with quality pizza boxes and containers for the sauces and lasagna. The staff was friendly, and even though it took a little while for someone to attend to us, once they did, everything was executed wonderfully."

Our server Marranda did a great job of helping us navigate the extensive menu including Oreo filled churros and fried avocado tacos! A must for those passing through Arlington. "Affordable large helpings. Decent coffee. Family owned run.Skillet used to be in an old diner on the corner of Bowen Division. Definitely needed upgrades. Service was good, wait staff friendly. Weekends would be PACKED. Like line out the door. Also had an early morning group of people that would be there at 5 am and eat drink coffee for a couple of hours. Kind of place you liked because it was comfortable, but you wished it looked better.Fast forward to their new location up the street. Used to be an Italian restaurant definitely not what Skillet "feels "like. A much bigger restaurant, same menu.They open at 5 and serve comfort food basically. The servings are always huge and most of the time the food is good. I usually ask for my bacon to be extra crispy, but not burned. I have gotten every thing from still oinking to flat out burned. The cook knows he 's either putting semi raw or totally burned bacon on my plate and the waitresses can see what he puts on my plate not acceptable at all. Most of the time it 's fine. If you like firm scrambled eggs, tell them you want a hard scramble, but not brown. They do well on the over medium fried eggs most of the time (far better than Crackerbarrel). I don 't recommend the pancakes or waffles too dense not a good flavor. Omelets are massive!I usually eat breakfast there, so I have not tried any lunch items, except the BLT, which is good.Bottom line decent comfort food, reasonable prices, large portions.Wheelchair accessibility: Definitely wheelchair/handicap accessible."
