"We dined in during the Clayton Harvest Festival, and to say they were busy would be an understatement. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The prices were impressive and very reasonable. If you’re looking for something fancy, this isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re in search of a charming Old Town spot to enjoy some delicious food, definitely stop by. Just don’t expect the decor to wow you!"

My son and I found this place and decided to try it out. It has now become a tradition for the past few months. We always feel welcomed and feel like we've been coming here for years. Staff is always so friendly.

Yum! Had their breakfast twice this week while in town. Fresh, delicious, and great pricing. Fantastic food along with excellent and friendly service makes this place a must! The pancakes were one of our favorites. All cooked perfectly, fluffy but not too thick and browned just right. Coffee was tasty for only a $1.50! Exceptional value…Family of 5 breakfast under $30 ? Look forward to stopping here again the next time we are in town.

"I was impressed by the spacious and welcoming dining area of the restaurant, which had a rustic charm. They served us a delicious meal in Clayton. The staff greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in, which was something I appreciated in a small town like Clayton. The service was excellent. The menu was impressive and I would recommend trying a few dishes if you visit. The cheese fries were fantastic and filling, but the standout dish was the crispy rib appetizer. The combination of tender rib meat and melted cheese was outstanding, and just as good the next day as leftovers. I ordered the Jennifer’s filet entree, which was cooked well, though closer to medium than rare as I had hoped. I didn't get to see the rooftop terrace, but it sounds spacious and I look forward to visiting it on our next trip during the warmer months. Cheers!"

"Decided to try this restaurant today with a coworker since I am not usually in the area and I always like to try new restaurants when I can. Let me just say- this place exceeded all expectations. The review photos look so good but the taste is even better.Chicken literally melts in your mouth and the yellow rice and cabbage were delicious and flavorful and the perfect complement tothe chicken. The owner (I?m assuming to be the owner as she said it was her Mac and cheese recipe) was so sweet and gave me asample of the Mac and cheese to try! The Mac and cheese was very good as well, had a very unique taste and I already know I willbe craving this place when I am back in Cary and will be happy to make the drive for such good food. I already ate like half thechicken before I took this photo but the portions are wonderful here too!"

"Advanced dining room is very well removed. Excellent food. Open spaces to go w Chula the chicken is perfectly made Chula loves it so I do! Give this place a shot; You'll be glad you did it. 1. Visit: had the steak burrito, grilled chicken a few chicken tacos. Bottom line up front: definitely recommend; I will return. You have a bar with accusations for your Tacos y Burritos. I like the banged green salsa. It was the spieste had good taste. The avocado sauce salsa was a little citrus y. The green sauce is mild w good taste. I didn't try the Rojo sauce. Often, trying to make it smoky results in a bit of a burned taste... The Burrito was excellent, like the grilled chicken flour. The chicken ducks are for my dog... She's always a total carnivore. She definitely agrees!! Service was very good food prep was fast. Give this place an attempt; They won't be disappointed."

"I love Mexican food, but this was such a disappointing experience, I had to leave a review. First, it was extremely hot. Either the AC was broken or was not turned cold enough. No excuse either way in the summer. Second, service was terrible. Did not get drinks refilled until meal was over. Could not order an appetizer because server never came back after initial order. Could not even find her. Was not offered more chips and salsa once, and could not ask for it. Third, the food was incredibly bad. The guacamole tastes and looks like they plopped avocado in a bowl. No cilantro. No onion. No tomato. No lime or lemon. Had to salt it heavily to even make it palatable. The carne asada on the tacos I ordered was basically burned. I got cheese on my tacos and could barely see it. Don't waste money on cheese on tacos because they don't give you any. Two forgettable meals, bland guac, and one quesadilla on the side and it was over 40 dollars. I don't plan on ever going back. This place used to be great."

"You absolutely have to try the Cuban sandwich! It’s easily my favorite, and I’m so excited it’s back on the menu! This is the best food I’ve ever had. Whether it’s the cheesesteak, chips, fries, or pork roll, you really can’t go wrong! Be sure to check out their weekly specials; they always feature the most unique desserts too, like red velvet bread pudding and s’mores brownies. You won't be disappointed!"
