"A guy I work with told me he had been going to Captain JJ’s near Graceland for years. So on my way through Memphis recently, I stopped for dinner. I expected a nice sit-down restaurant. Instead, it is a small think a small Subway shop) hole-in-the-wall storefront with a walk-up counter where you order, and 4 or 5 booths. Romantic or comfortable) it’s not. Not familiar with Memphis, I don’t know if this is a safe area at night for families, but I can tell you: I’ll be back. And you should go next time you’re near Graceland. All that said, their honey bbq boneless wings $8.99 for 6) are so much better than any I’ve ever had. They are large and come slathered in sauce. They also come with an order of crinkle cut fries that are just okay. I wish now I had paid the up-charge for fried corn nuggets. My friend, and a customer at the restaurant, told me all of their food is excellent."

The food is delicious, served hot and fresh, and the staff provides a professional attitude. My favorite is the seasoned wing special that comes with fries and a soda.
