Knickerbocker Tavern

It didn't look like much from the outside. It's a very nice restaurant. Great atmosphere, especially in their courtyard dining area.

The food is absolutely delicious! The pub has a charming atmosphere with an open dining area (we opted to sit inside). The crab dip is fantastic, and my wife's favorite dish is the fish and chips.

The staff, food, and cocktails were all outstanding, and I must mention the bartender, Erik, who was absolutely phenomenal! He made the best Moscow Mules I've ever had! We will definitely be coming back! Ver carta

The bill charged all of us $10 for cheaper beers. Then the waiter said they could not correct the bill and said they would refund cash. So they will just keep charging everyone more than the menu price? DONT GO HERE.

Excellent menu and good food. However it takes a good long time for orders to come out of the kitchen. The server was pleasant, intelligent, and attentive. I knocked down service a couple of stars because the kitchen is too damn slow. The Kourtyard is a special place. Loved it.

This is a trendy bar that offers above-average food. While it may be a bit overpriced, the dishes are consistently delicious. Housed in a 120-year-old building, it exudes a charming, nostalgic atmosphere. I grew up just a few blocks away from Knickerbockers. Who reviews this place? How did they get an over 4 rating. Stacked BLT for $17. Two pieces of wonder bread and two slices of bacon. Overpriced, run of the mill food. Better of going to Burger King. Service wasn't very good either. It doesn't bother me that it was a $17 sandwich, but when you read the description of the sandwich, your expecting something that you can't make at home in 5 minutes. This guy ought to eat his own food.

My boyfriend and I stopped here to grab a bite yesterday. The place is beautiful, but the food was just okay and the service wasn't the best. Our waiter was friendly enough at first. My boyfriend ordered a tea since he was driving, asked for sugar since they only have unsweetened. No sweetener was brought out. I had asked for a box at the end of the meal as we paid, I was told I would be given one and he never came back to our table. All in all, I was very disappointed with our experience and I don't think we'll be returning.

From the outside, the place doesn't seem very special. It is right at a corner, and parking is a bit obscure. After that, this place is a pure joy. Food selection and quality were really good, serving sizes were generous. Beer selection wasn't huge, but was very much varied (too often it seems places only have the usual and IPAs), and I was thrilled to see a couple of beers I'd never seen before. They have a liquor selection that is extensive, so if you're looking to try something new, this is the place! All of this pales to the prompt, friendly service.
