The small plates were absolutely delicious, minus the deviled eggs. The Sake the server recommended was great and the sashimi was super fresh and perfectly presented! Highly recommend Komodo Loco!

Great food every time we have been there. Exploration menu with some unique takes. Love their shashito pepper and Brussel sprout appetizers. All of the sushi that we have tried have been truly unique and above pat. Service has always been very attentive, and it is great that they stay open a little later than other restaurants!

I liked the food here, tasted good but I feel it was a bit on the pricy side for what you get. We got the salmon Komodo tower dish (like ahi tower you get elsewhere), the poke bowl, the 3 set pork belly bao buns, a simple yellowtail maki roll, and 2 cocktails. Simply perfect. I've a lot of great meals in many places around the world and this night is in my all time top 5. Every dish was made with class and delicious. I had shishitos, edamame, miso soup, pork belly bao buns, pickles and jalapeños, pork belly ramen, and sashimi yellowtail and albacore. It was perfect. And that's just the food. The service was on point and the ambiance indicative of the best Japanese sushi joints. Can't recommend enough. Do it!

Great little place just off the main roads. It looks a little divey from that outside, but is clean and comfortable on the inside. Our service was excellent and everyone was incredibly friendly. We had the roasted brussels sprouts as well as the roasted peppers for appetizers and both were delicious. I had the southern smoked Ramen with extra spice added. It was excellent, and the spice level was perfect for me. Others had the sushi, which they really enjoyed. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area

This establishment is nicely decorated. Service was great. Did not visit the bar side but looks nice enough. Bro said that was the best fried rice he's ever had. I started with the kimchi dragon eggs I expected more bacon and more flavor, didn't taste any kimchi. I also got a cucumber salad, Nice and small but good portion for me. I moved on to the Two baos, one pork belly and one chicken. Both were very tasty. I completed my meal with a specialty roll, slamming sake it was okay I would go back and try other items on the menu. I should be ashamed of myself...Komodo Loco is one of my favorite restaurants in Denton, and I have apparently forgotten to write a review after the multiple times I've been here! The vibe is fantastic. The music is always great and played at the perfect volume. Much of decor is Asian inspired and eclectic. Some of the tables are a tad too close for my liking, but it's never been a real issue. An ideal place for a first date! The service is always fast; I love the servers aren't required to wear a uniform and can show their personalities through their outfit. My consistent go-to here are the pulled pork totchos. It had been a minute since we'd ventured here and I am so glad we did! My hubby and I were on the hunt for a quick but good meal before catching some sports event. We got in early, around 5pm, and were seated immediately. The place has had some nice renovations lately and it is quite charming inside. I had a great time with my friend at Komodo Loco. The interior felt like something you might see in Austin or Colorado moody lighting with cool artwork. First things first, I was hoping that we would sit in the front area of the restaurant where things were happening but we were sat in a back room down tue hallway which you couldn't even tell existed.
