"Our server was friendly and mostly attentive, although we had to ask for beverage refills. Unfortunately, the language barrier made it challenging to clarify menu items due to my food allergy. We started with the Hamachi Crudo for $25. While it was flavorful, the serving size was disappointing, consisting of only six tiny bites—less than 2 ounces of yellowtail. For our main courses, my husband and I both chose the Friday Heritage dinner featuring stuffed sole, only to later discover it contained my allergen. So, I opted for the duck with farroto and acorn squash. Both my farroto and my husband’s haricots verts (essentially green beans) were undercooked. Additionally, my husband’s basmati pilaf was overwhelmed by the taste of coconut, making it less enjoyable. The portion of the sole was merely 3-4 ounces of fish with about two tablespoons of crab stuffing, all for $34. If the entrees had tasted good and met the quality one would expect from a restaurant established in the '30s in a high-end resort town, the price wouldn’t have been an issue. However, the duck was particularly greasy, and the flavor of the duck fat lingered in my mouth long after the meal. In total, our bill, including food, drinks, and tip, exceeded $200 for two people. It’s not about the expense when the taste and quality fail to deliver. We chose to dine here for convenience, not wanting to brave the cold outside, but in retrospect, we should have ventured out. Save your time and money; this restaurant simply isn’t worth it."

"Lupo has the potential to become a very good restaurant. Food was great but it took over an hour to finally be served our main course. Our waitress was lovely and paid for our drinks because of the long wait. She explained that they were way understaffed in the kitchen. The real showstoppper was cleanliness. There was dog hair all over the floor where we were seated. I would need a personal invitation from the owner to ever go back."

"We had a reservation for 7 PM, but our food didn't arrive until after 8 PM, and we didn't receive any updates about the delay. I ordered the rack of lamb, which I requested to be cooked medium rare, but it was overcooked. The flavor was good, and the presentation was decent. My wife ordered the filet cooked medium, but it came out well done, dry, and lacking in flavor. The service was very slow. While the waitress apologized for the delay, she seldom checked on us during our meal. Overall, I would consider other options for our next visit. Parking was also an issue; the street in front of the restaurant is closed for construction, which can be confusing if you're not familiar with the area."

"Enoteca became our favorite restaurant in Ketchum. The atmosphere and service were excellent. I ordered the lamb chops, and they were among the best I've ever tasted. My friends had the duck confit and enjoyed it so much they practically licked their plates clean. The chicken dish was a hit as well, and our salads were outstanding. The wine list featured some great Italian options, and we enjoyed two bottles during our meal. Our server was fantastic—she had an impressive knowledge of the wines. I only wish this restaurant were in San Francisco; I can't wait to return on my next trip. We didn't try the pizzas this time, but I definitely plan to order one on my next visit. Be sure to make reservations in advance, as it was tough to get a table. We wrapped up our meal with a lovely glass of port."

"We are Sun Valley local, yet we don’t get out for breakfast much… today my husband convinced me I wish he hadn’t. Your satisfaction here probably depends what you are looking for….. if you just need food in your belly, this place is fine. It also probably depends what you order. My husband loved his “Blackstone Benedict”, but my blueberry pancakes were the most flavorless pancakes I’ve ever had…AND very “light” on blueberries. There were blueberries only in the center of each pancake, not spread throughout the whole pancake. One of my daughters had chocolate chip pancakes rated them “basic, nothing too special”. My other daughter had the “Sun valley two, two, two”… she said it was good but prefers my pancakes at home which are Stonewall Kitchen. My recommendation is, don’t order pancakes here, as they are not worth it."
