"The space is small and not fancy at all. Initially, there was a hint of an unpleasant aroma, but it faded after a few minutes (whether that's a good or bad thing is up for debate). There aren’t many seats, and we had to wait about 30 minutes to be seated and place our order. We didn’t mind the wait since it was expected.
The service was friendly, albeit not very attentive. We didn’t receive refills on water or soda during our visit. However, with only a few servers busy getting food out, we didn’t take it personally.
We ordered vegetable tempura, takoyaki, katsudon, and karrage don. Everything was delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the takoyaki. The katsudon was slightly smaller and a bit pricier than my previous favorite, but it still satisfied my cravings. While I’m not a fan of karrage don, my wife enjoyed it.
The meal wasn’t life-changing, but it was a fantastic way to enjoy some traditional Japanese dishes that are hard to come by. The prices were in line with other places, and the quality was good, while the atmosphere was fairly neutral. I wouldn't hesitate to return if I was in the mood for Japanese food, and I’d love to try the curry next time.
