"This restaurant has really declined. I remember when it was the best in town, but after tonight, we won't be coming back. We called in a pickup order, which was quick, but when my husband got home, we discovered we were overcharged by $15. Once we sat down to eat, the BBQ pork was extremely dry, the fried prawns were overcooked, and the portion of sweet and sour chicken was the smallest I've ever seen. To make matters worse, my husband found a hair in his food just two bites in, so he didn't even finish it. Note to self: never order Chinese food on a Tuesday again."

Was an overall meh experience. Service was good. Found a hair in my food. Otherwise some items, like the sesame chicken had nice flavors. BBQ pork tasted

I ordered the chicken and it came out it was very grissley and fatty so I sent it back for another dish and they still charged us for the original dish. Do not recommend.

I agree with the other guy. Only thing worth eating was pork fried rice. We tried several items. Friendly people there do I don’t like leaving a bad review but it is what it is ya’ll. Ver carta

Waaaay too expensive! $19 for a hamburger is insane. Shorted me on fries.You also get extremely small portions for their “dinner” plates that are overly priced for what you get.Not worth the money. Not filling at all.

The only thing they did well was the pork fried rice and that was because it was made fresh. Also, Mango Lemonade was pretty good. Otherwise, small portions, high prices, pressed chicken that had been obviously bought (not made), and warm sushi made the experience another data point in the rule of: don't trust chinese food bought at the ocean. Also, the hot and sour soup was the egg flower soup with hot and sour mix tossed in!

"We came here for our 10 year anniversary, and it was phenomenal. Nicolas was our server, and he 's an absolute gem he gave us suggestions about the menu, was super engaging, and was the cherry on top of what was an overall great experience. Several notes: The cucumber basil martini was perfection and should never leave the menu. The spicy tuna crispy rice are top notch(as good as I 've had in both Vancouver BC and NYC). The seared jumbo scallops on green pea risotto were fantastic and definitely something to add to your list of must try here. Buttery scallops alongside the sweet, fresh notes of the peas in combination with the tart balsamic glaze really made this a wonderfully balanced dish. And if you do find you need some added texture, the battered fries are a great side to add for a bit of crunch. Honorable mentions: Crispy Rock Cod Tacos and clam chowder I thought both were lovely and very fresh, but ultimately not my meal, lol."

"Decided to try dinner here during a recent stay in Newport, partly because it was within walking distance from the hotel and partly because the online menu looked appealing. It turned out to be an excellent choice! It was kind of crowded despite being fairly early in the evening, but we got seated in the quieter bar area and service was still prompt. Steamer clams are a must for me whenever I'm on the coast, so we ordered those and then decided on the fish tacos and the Newport Catch, both of which were made from the catch of the day brought in by a particular fishing boat. And both were absolutely phenomenal. My fish was so flaky it wouldn't even stay on my fork. The combination of flavors in both dishes was outstanding. The server was even kind enough to go back to the kitchen and get some more info on the baja sauce when we inquired about it; I'm gonna have to try to make some next time I have fish tacos at home. We also went ahead and ordered dessert, which we RARELY do at restaurants, and they were kind enough to pack it up in to-go containers for us to take back to the hotel. Hello chocolate lava cake with Tillamook vanilla ice cream. Oh, that's the other thing; so much of what this restaurant offers is locally sourced, and there's actually a big board by the front door showing all of their community and regional partners and suppliers, which I thought was really cool.I will definitely be stopping here again next time I'm in Newport."

"Loved this Waterfront Restaurant. Beautiful sunny day in Newport, so I opted for a table on the open terrace. Great view of the famous bridge, and the sound of the many sea lions. I had a 10 piece mixed sashimi. Absolutely delicious. Each piece was a delight. Service was fast and very friendly. I’d highly recommend this place. Service: Dine in"

"Not what I was hoping. The food was fine. The tiramisu was a little too rich and the cannolis weren’t the best. The meatball app we tried didn’t come out hot. I will say the pastas were cooked perfectly though. Our app came out before our drinks and our garlic bread came out after our entrees. The garlic bread was greasy and something I could make better at home. The server forgot to put in one of our drinks and everything just moved slow service and bar wise, but the food came out really fast. Cadence seems to be an issue they need to work through. Because this is the sister restaurant to Beck, I would have expected much more."

"The staff was quick and nice. It was late but the view was still wonderful! The sad part was that the food was no good. My wife and I both ordered our usual pad kee mow, and it was all noodles. Very little veggies, too sweet, noodles were too dense and the chicken was wet and looked like it was chewed up dog food. Neither of us finished it and it went into the trash.
