"This is a fantastic local spot that's always bustling! Just a heads up: Mexican food isn't ideal for traveling, especially during the winter of 2020-21, so be sure to plan ahead! Today, I tried the three chicken flautas (or rolled tacos) served with rice and beans for just $7, and they were fantastic! The rice and refried beans were delicious, just like my mom makes. The crispy rolled tacos were filled with chicken that reminded me of what I had in San Diego. Since this was my first time trying them, I can’t wait to go back and see if they’re just as good on my second visit. Cheers! See you soon!"

Very delicious food. It's one of my favorite taqueria in town. One of the best Quesadilla I've ever tried. Homemade tortillas with fresh ingredients.

Probably the best quick food in Astoria. Reasonably priced and super awesome. Can't say I have ever had anything bad here. Carnitas burrito ? is the size of a small dog!

The quality of the meat is exceptional. I tried the Lengua (pig tongue), which was tender and flavorful. It would be great to see more toppings added, but overall, it was a very good taco.

I had a really disappointing experience! I ordered a huarache with beef tongue, and it was not good at all. The smell and flavor were awful. I wouldn't recommend spending your money at this place. Ver carta

Some kind of hidden gem in the area. I like her open kitchen layout. On order... Beautiful tacos and taste. A lot of meat their combination menus are best... my favorite Mexican restaurant in this area. If you like Mexican food, you should try:

Terrible experience! The restaurant was in dire need of a cleanup, with boxes and food scraps scattered all over the place. I ordered a taco combo, but since no one except the waitress was wearing a mask, I decided to leave as soon as I could. By the time I got home, the beef and chicken tacos were dried out, and I had to throw away the beans and rice. I won’t be returning.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
