"Our first and last time to La Perla. It was dinner time and we noticed there were not many people inside (not a good sign). The place had a bad smell. The air was warm and stuffy. I ordered a beef burrito. It wasn’t hot and had no flavor (salty). My son was disappointed with his food. After taking a few bites, we decided to leave and headed over to Monterrey Mexican Restaurant where we enjoyed a delicious authentic hot meal .. and margaritas!"

Looking for authentic Mexican food in Greeneville? No other place compares to La Perla! Staff is so friendly, food is amazing and spicy (if you ask for the spicy salsa) and made me feel like I was right back in the west coast.

Ok, I love Mexican food. But La Perla is one of my all time favorites. The Horchata and tacos are the best of the best. Perla is awesome, she comes out and talks to you. And just really enhances your dining experience. She also makes the best cakes ever. Ask her to see some of her creations. Absolutely incredible. So out of every Mexican I’ve been in my whole life. La Perla is the best I’ve ever had. Food: 5
