I have absolutely loved this place since it opened years ago. Meg, the owner is an incredible human. The folks she has working for her are equally as awesome. And over the years it has been many of the same people that have stayed. Quality, friendly, and an overall feeling of belonging. The food is SO flavorful. Highly recommend. Ver carta

It has been a while since i have been to lady bird diner. Again today did not disappoint. I had the biscuits and gravy and a side of bacon. The biscuits were soft and fluffy and gravy was full of sausage. The bacon was nice and crispy with a small bit of chew. I believe I talked with the owner and we talked about my mug I brought on that was my grandparents. Also my waitress which I didn't get her name was amazing. Attentive and stopped by my table multiple times. I wish I could frequent this place more as it feels like home when I'm here.

Ate here twice and absolutely love coming here! Sat in a booth and at the bar (arguably the better spot). The place is decked on in 50s-60s decro and each spot as a different set of salt and pepper shakers. They serve the drinks in different mason jars which are so cute! The staff is amazing and so nice and knowledgeable about the menu items. LOVE LOVE LOVE the fresh juices they get! Honestly I'd go there just for them haha The iced lattes are delicious as well! Fancy French toast is SO good and so is the biscuits and gravey! Lunch options are also very good and the cocktails are on point!

My wife Jan and I were in Lawrence to intern my folks ashes, being from Texas we were drawn to the Ladybird diner sign, figuring anything associated with Texas has to be good! No disappointment here! The 1st night Carolyn a great personality , gave us some good recommendations from the menu! Cheeseburger was one of the best! Made Texas proud! Our next visit a couple days later was for brunch, Becca’ another great personality, beware she charges 2 dollars for her autograph! Chicken fried steak with eggs and potatoes was dang good!
