Did not meet our expectations. Food was of average quality. Prices were not. Due to the pandemic and the associated staffing shortages, I don’t consider service level. Overall: average at best

Latitude continues to offer outdoor dining near the Mystic River. The tables are under canvas but open to the breeze. Food selections are excellent, with a good range of choices and good preparation. Latitude is just steps from the Mystic Seaport and well recommended

As I've commented before the service here is one of the best I've experienced. Usually eat on the bar side and the bartenders are really great with recommendations and service. Had the mussels with chorizo. Good size plate. Be sure to ask for some bread to sop up the broth Ver carta

This used to be a really good restaurant. We were there in April when it had reopened after being closed for the winter season and it wasnt that great. I wanted to give it another chance since I used to love it so much. It was just ok. Not bad but nothing that great. The servers were very nice. But I am not sure I will go back

We shared the watermelon heirloom tomato salad.Watermelon was sweet, tomato was a little tough. not sure it was an heirloom. Menu said an orange vinagerette dressing. didnt really taste that. I had the short rib tacos. Tasty. My wife had the hot lobster rolls. A few pieces of the lobster were gray in color? It kind of ruined the meal. A wedding was going on and maybe the kitchen was focused on that. We were disappointed after several people recommended Latitude

The place has the potential to be great but misses in a few key areas. Positives: Right on the river, large tented outdoor dining area, server was attentive and pleasant, calamari was fried to perfection Negatives: cheap chairs and tables detract from the lovely setting, main courses were decent to bland (fish tacos former, braised beef tacos the latter), French fries seemed they were sitting too long Ultimately this was a miss for me. A lot of potential and I appreciate the more casual menu in a sea (pun intended) of more upscale restaurants in Mystic, but there are better options Ver carta
