Overall, everything was pleasant. However, one of the shrimp tempura we ordered had a fruit fly in it. Aside from that, the rest of the food was excellent—definitely one of the best crab rangoons I’ve ever had! Food rating: 4/5.

Hibachi tables not available until 5 pm. Miso soup was inedible. Salad was good, but not chopped small enough. Why would anyone tempura fry taro? Yuck! Entrees and fried rice tasted good, and the bill was really expensive. Will not be returning.Food: 3/5

We love lava grill for sushi, entrees, and hibachi. Butterfly kiss is a great no-rice option. Fav dishes are pepper Beef and green curry. Our son has a seafood allergy, but they will prepare hibachi separately in kitchen to avoid cross contamination.Food: 5/5 Ver carta

Where to begin. This place had all my coworkers sick after eating here. It was something about the Hibachi that just did not agree. Started with nausea and ended with many people going home sick. Just be mindful of your food being cooked. Also, they charged my boss 3 times.Food: 1/5

Lava Grill is our favorite hibachi restaurant. The food is consistently excellent, and the service is fantastic. It's one of our top choices for a special treat and a great way to enjoy a fun date night. If you want to be seated promptly, I strongly recommend calling ahead for the hibachi tables. Food: 5/5

Place was pleasant but service was horrible. The hibachi chef did not want to be there and you could tell ,he threw a fit because we asked to remove the mushroom because of an allergy. Had a big attitude and didn't even cook our food right the chicken wasn't cooked and the shrimp was rubbery way to expensive for what we got. Ver carta

I have visited this restaurant several times and I absolutely love it! The chefs are incredibly skilled, and the atmosphere is genuinely Asian-inspired. As someone who has struggled with an eating disorder, I was initially worried that I wouldn't enjoy their food, but they encouraged me to try new things and expand my palate. Now, I wish I could enjoy their dishes every day! The staff is so friendly, and I plan to keep coming back for as long as I can.

Unfortunately I have to give a negative review as this place has really gone down hill in the last few years. Used to be a regular but ever since Covid it seems they don't care about quality. The last few times I could tell it was not the same but tonight really made it clear and I'll not be going back. I ordered spicy tuna roll and spring rolls. The spicy tuna rolls were just rice and tuna, nothing spicy. The spring rolls were absolutely the worst ever. They had a small sliver (maybe a 5th of a shrimp) inside each roll. It was all lettuce. I got the Pad Thai noodle dish with added shrimp, bell pepper and broccoli. It's got stir fried pad Thai with egg, vegetables, and crushed peanuts in a thin light sauce. It was so good. Exactly what I was craving. I got it to go at the bar. The woman working was so friendly and helpful. She answered my questions about menu items and she shared her top recommendations of her favorite menu items, so I have some ideas to try next time. They have a lot of selection many items from various types of Asian cuisine.
