Friendly staff, happy to translate the menu to English, my friends had shrimp and I had duck. do leave space for dessert, nicely served in jars and just the right portion size. Perfect as only a 5 min walk to our apartment.

Hunger and the desire to eat a tasty food led me to this establishment. I listened to my intuition and this time again this one was very good advice. My first point is that it is not at all expensive given the severity of the service and the excellence of the kitchen. That’s why I decided to make one of my favorite restaurants and my list is pretty short. All these praises are thanks to this risotto to the calamars who totally seduced me.

Interested by the reviews of TA as there are not so many restaurants located in that area, we enjoyed so much lovely and tasty homemade food by a young french chef, Anthony.Definitly one of the best lunch we had in the region, so affordable price and beautiful energy with the team and the location. Aircon inside or shadowy terrace along a main road, but very quiet.The pastas were stunning, fish plate perfectly cooked, and dessert are delicious.Very good house wine at 2.80 a glass!Spotless and huge potential! Smallish cafe/restaurant in a residential area about 10 minutes walk from the tram line. Not touristy at all, and refreshingly unstuffy. Friendly welcome, and an English-speaking waitress to help us decipher the dishes. There's a small range of dishes (about 12) which are changed weekly. Good food with some imaginative twists. Mains are around 12-14 euros, which is excellent value considering the quality. I doubt this really is the best restaurant in Nice, but it's a great combination of friendly service, and good-value food which is definitely a cut above the normal restaurant fare. Easy to see why it's so popular with the locals.

We made a reservation for dinner based on the many good reviews posted on TA and was a little disappointed.Hostess was very accommodating and we sat outside on the covered terrace and were the first to arrive but before long it filled.It’s a small neighborhood place with a limited menu as you might expect. I first chose something off of the regular menu but it was not available…only the specials board. (Which included as one of the evening special plat's a hamburger, not getting how a burger can get a place to be #1)As a starter I had the avocado and shrimp which was quite good.We both had St Peter filet for our main and were of the same opinion, that the fish was a tad overcooked especially...

Having arrived late in the day at our bed and breakfast, we asked our hostess for suggestions on nearby restaurants. Her favorite and one that was on my list was Le Bistronome. Having made reservations, we were one of the first to arrive at this local restaurant that seemed to be frequented by the residents. We had a hard time with the menu and the local interpretation of the selections but our waitress who spoke a little English helped us enough to order delicious meals of fish and scrimp, including two kinds of fish and mussels in a tomato creme sauce with potatoes carrots and zucchini.
