"Scuttlebutts. The term corresponds to the colloquial concept of sailors while on ship have a dedicated wooden cask used to serve water (or rum) which becomes the focus of congregation and casual discussion. Whether one goes for food, for a drink or for a social gathering..... you will NEVER be disappointed! Although we no longer reside there, people who don 't have often ask me what 's it like to live on Cobb Island. My answer has and always will be: Think of hard working, fun loving bunch of drinkers who have a serious fishing or worse, a boating problem! I usually get the initial perplexed look and I will sit back to watch the light bulb turn on once my verbal description sets in. Good folk indeed who often gather at the well known and loved libations central and review the daily events, world or otherwise! A place where you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm smile, a friendly hello and an honest inquiry as to you and your loved ones general well being all the while a drink is being made ready for you and will be waiting when done with your conversation(s)!!! Bob and Nancy are fantastic owners and wonderful people who put their heart and soul into the business and genuinely care that you, the customer have a great experience. I can honestly say that you are indeed in good hands when you step through those doors. The name of the place is open to many different versions and colorful advertising slogans, all in good fun and that 's what you can expect when you arrive.... good folk who care about each other and treat you like family! Like I said, we used to live there. We truly miss the people and the fun times we had. You will not be disappointed."

"This restaurant is very unprofessional and racist. The manger Carol herself gave me that impression yesterday. I placed a togo order inside at the bar. Before the food was even ready, I wanted to add something else to the order. Carol walked passed my family and I about four times while standing in the area to place a togo order. When she finally stop to give us the food, I explained to her how I 've been standing there that whole time to add something else to my togo order. She responded back saying I should had said excuse me instead of standing there. Me coming to a restaurant to SPEND my money and being told I should had said excuse me to get her attention when she didn 't even have the audacity to stop and ask if he needed anything else was very rude. She was also disrespectful when I asked for her name and the owner name. After I told her she was being very unprofessional and disrespectful, she threw her hands in the air like whatever and walked back inside the restaurant. This restaurant is totally unprofessional and do not like the people of color."

"This coffee shop is absolutely delicious and the staff is very friendly! I really enjoyed the Swiss and spinach quiche. My daughter picked up one of their hoodies, which is incredibly soft and comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!"

"The food was quite bland, and the portions were disappointingly small. To be fair, we did order two fried dishes, so I didn't feel like I had a chance to sample a wider variety. I was keen on trying the mussels, but unfortunately, they were unavailable. The rockfish sandwich was roughly the same size as the unremarkable bun it came with. The tomato slice was tasty, though. The order included about eight smaller fried oysters, which seemed more like an appetizer than a main course. I didn’t notice if the menu specified the quantity, but I was expecting more. "The fact that there were very few if any people here should have tipped us off. The menu was very limited but I'm originally from Buffalo and like to try wings wherever I go. They were on the menu so I ordered them. We had a large party and the server was apparently new and not experienced in the field, she was the highlight of the meal. The food came out in shifts, all the wings were first then similar orders came at the same time. The last to arrive was the seafood pizza overall it took well over an hour to get our order in and receive our food. The wings looked ok at first. They were breaded which I'm not a fan of but I understand many places do that. However after biting into them they were the toughest wings I have ever eaten and a color I can only describe as zombie gray. I only ate a couple they were that bad. I can't recommend this place at all and encourage you to find somewhere else to eat."
