"Although I ordered the squid ink spaghetti with anchovy expecting a stronger fishy and salty flavor, it surprisingly had a bright and citrusy taste instead. The mackerel and sweet potatoes were the highlights for both of us, while everything else was also fantastic. However, we wanted to finish our night with dessert, and unfortunately, that was the low point of the evening. When we took bites of the prickly pear sorbet, we were both hit with a mouthful of sea salt, which detracted from the overall experience. I asked our waiter if the salt was intentional, and it turned out it was. I didn't want to make a fuss by returning the dish, so I tried to work around it, but it really affected my mood. If the salt had been mentioned on the menu or by our waiter, I could have requested it to be omitted, and the meal would have been deserving of five stars. Still, I appreciate the great night overall!"

The food was absolutely delicious, and the delivery was flawless. As an Italian, it reminded me of home, and I truly loved it. I will definitely be ordering again!

The portion of cavatelli I received was disappointingly small, even for an appetizer, yet it was priced as a main course. If the restaurant wants to attract repeat customers, they should consider being more generous with their servings.

We were a larger group, but the atmosphere is equally suited for a romantic dinner for two or a cozy spot at the bar. The playlist was great, and the vibe felt elegantly cool. Nestled in a local apartment building near Hudson Yards, once you find this gem, you’ll definitely want to come back and share the experience with the team at Legacy! Ver carta

The fermented bread is simply out of this world, and the pumpkin ravioli is both incredible and delicious. The cocktails were also perfectly crafted! The restaurant's atmosphere is captivating and offers a sense of privacy. Since we visited on a Friday night and arrived at 6:30 PM, there were only a few tables occupied by the time we left. We can’t wait to return for more delightful flavors next time we're in town!

The food is absolutely incredible. The new chef Lucas Harrell has brought balanced bursts of flavor throughout the menu. From the diverse array of crudo, the outrageously delicious pastas and the mains—our favorite was the famous legacy duck and the truffle-stuffed chicken, which may be the best chicken any of us ever had! And the homemade gelato and Mille feuille were *chefs kiss* Restaurant is beautiful and service was also great. Delicious cocktails too!

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
