"Don't judge a book by its cover, right? Lil Annie's is a delicious spot if you're not only on a budget but also craving a tasty sandwich. The interior is small and cramped, but on a nice day there is a small courtyard down the block to sit and eat which is where we ended up at. I enjoyed the service and attention to detail. Hot Chai Tea. A good amount of cinammon flavor and not too overbearing on sweetness. BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwich. $6.75 for a deliciously good pulled pork sub. The bbq sauce was perfect, not too sweet and the tomatoes added a subtle amount of acidity to even out the flavors. If you're only wanting a snack they do offer bobas, chips, muffins, cookies and more for a quick grab and go. I was thinking that this was going to be a miss, but I'm glad that I left pleasantly surprised and full."

No restroom, but only coffee and tea shop I could find on rainy Wed. afternoon in Georgetown. Owner and wife were very nice. We had hot tea. Inexpensive.

This is an excellent spot for delicious, straightforward sandwiches at a budget-friendly price! It's an ideal choice for a quick lunch before setting off on a mountain adventure. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive. Food: 5/5.

I enjoyed the combination sandwich this week, and it was absolutely fantastic! The price is great, especially given the generous size of the sandwich. However, the real standout was the freshly baked bread, made daily—it was simply wonderful! We also had two kids with us who ordered the turkey sandwich, and they really loved the bread too.

I went to this restaurant for a late lunch after a hike, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were served. They even topped off our water while we waited! I highly recommend the chicken sandwich and the taro slush. The milk tea boba was fantastic as well—definitely a perfect 10/10. I suggest this spot to anyone, especially after a hike. Food rating: 5/5. Ver carta

Friendly and warm owner operator! Neat and clean and cute cafe. We came in from the rain and we were so happy when our tuna subs came on a delicious WARM roll. Highly recommend you bring your warm, kind self here for a casual bite. Very pleasant experience. Please support this small and kind business. We got two full lunches for just under twenty dollars. Awesomeness!

5 for the food and friendly fast service. Only gave 4 as the ambiance is pretty basic, so some readers would challenge a 5 overall. Only seats about 16 customers. Order at counter, they brought our order to our table. We just had sandwiches and were very pleasantly surprised at the size and amount of meat and toppings for the price. Good bread, good quality meat, fresh toppings including choice of cheeses. About $7 per sandwich. We're not local so not handy to return, but we will try to arrange any trips that direction to include Lil Annies!

"My daughter and I had went to Georgetown last weekend to check out a few places to host her baby shower in April and we walked into Laurie’s cafe to check it out and we spoke to the owner Beth she seemed very welcoming and even offered to move some tea sets off a table but we liked them so we told her she didn’t have too. We discussed a few things and we were very excited to come back and try the food because we had already had lunch that day at another restaurant we were checking out so we told her we would come back and check out the food so that we could make our final choice on where we were going to host it so today Saturday February 24th we went to lunch there my daughter her fiancé and my mother and I to check it out we drove 45 minutes or so and we had high hopes and really had our heart set on holding it at this location. When we arrived the sign clearly states seat yourself anywhere you like so we did we picked a round table with a Pilar next to it so it would sit 5 people maybe and we had 4 I had stepped away to use the ladies room and when I came back I had noticed that the owner was at our table and I thought she had remembered us and maybe came over to talk about the baby shower but no she was asking us to move to a smaller table My daughter is 39 weeks pregnant tomorrow we wanted the bigger table for more room for her and for us to not feel so cramped The restaurant maybe had 2 tables with customers and was not busy We did move however I have a big issue with this treatment!! Why have a sign that says sit anywhere if you are going to have a problem with where we sit Also they had other options if a 5 or 6 people table came in so I don’t see what the big deal was or why she felt the need to approach the table in that way it’s a good thing I was in the restroom when she first came over or else we probably would’ve walked out!! We didn’t deserve to be treated that way and she even came out and talked to other tables but never to us mind you no other big parties came in while we were dining!!! A one person sat at a 4 top table but they were not asked to move to a two top table!! She never thanked us for moving tables or came by our table to see how everything was. She seemed more aggravated that we were even eating at her restaurant. I don’t understand why we were treated that way either as we didn’t deserve it we were only doing what the sign said and picked a table to sit at!! The more I think about it the more annoyed I get and I wish I would’ve said more and stood up for all of us and most importantly my daughter who is very pregnant and needed the space of a bigger table. The restaurant had plenty of options for other large parties!! I feel disrespected and mistreated and the way she presented herself today was WRONG on so many levels! Do not support this restaurant and the rude owner!!! The food was ok I did like a lot of what I ordered however the coconut cream pie I ordered for my mom and I to share didn’t seem cooked completely and it lacked flavor. My bill was over $85 for 4 plates and two desserts and two drinks and I feel for what we got it was WAY overpriced!! After the way we were treated we will NOT be hosting it at Laurie’s Cafe!! We decided to go with Sweet Lemon Kitchen and will be paying them close to $900 so next time BETH treat your customers better because you never know that could have been a good thing for your restaurant to host us and your waitstaff!!!! Don’t go to this place if your out in the Georgetown area Check out the many other places and the sweet lemon kitchen!!!!!"
