"it was Sunday, 15th January, eating was great. the service was completely unacceptable. when we were sitting, they did not tell us that there was an event that could affect the time of the meal. the server came by to ask one of the guests who wore kokain. then we had to ask for our menus. we ordered at 7:20 and at 7:50 we asked where our first cure was. he then told us that he set the order around 7:39 because he first asked about a few we had put over the menu that had to put the cook. we got our appetizers around approx. 8:10 We received our main course at 8:35 and were able to order a dessert and coffee. frustration in the attempt to make an update on eating safe for a less than positive experience. he was quite strange and really made for a rare not excellent experience"

great ambiente. great tasting eating, although portioning could be a little bigger and add more choices on the menu. the amuse bouche from past experiences has missed very much.

For a slightly upscale meal at Lincoln Center, this is a great choice. The menu is interesting, the food is delicious, and the service is excellent. The prices are reasonable. We went for a special occasion and had no regrets.

Lovely restaurant- one of my favorites, however ... the Insalata was really a Ceasar salad (with way too much dressing), and my main course-branzino veggies- -was lukewarm; all very disappointing. Service was adequate (not great).

from the moment on we sat on a beautiful table, which is the beautiful music center in these amazing fulcrums to the place on perfect time service of amit, to of course the extremely tasty eating, absolutely everything was a joy. the tables are conveniently spaced apart so that they and their neighbours cannot hear the conversations of the other who is a real luxury. the ambiente is elegant, but not stuffy and amit is really bent back to ensure that we have a first guess culinary experience. it is a scandal that eating and service in this beautiful restaurant has sunk so low. we have been going to this restaurant for many years a few times a year. the food and the service were excellent. every year we have seen weakening. our food last night (and I mean every dish) was almost useless. the service was embarrassing ineptic, with inappropriate long waiting times before we got our drinks and between the curses, and the check brought us and paid before dirty dishes were deleted. time to sweep the whole team and bring a completely fresh one that not only calls. such a beautiful location should have a restaurant worthy of it.

Lincoln Restaurant in Lincoln Center was a perfect refuge on a rainy night. This was our second dinner at Lincoln and both were superb in every respect. Front staff is accommodating; waitstaff is attentive without hovering and is well versed on the menu. When we had questions about how a particularly delicious Fluke appetizer was prepared, our waiter convered with Chef and reported back with details. Everything from cocktails through dessert was prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. Pacing of courses was well timed with no rush. While the prices are not insignificant, they are in line with fine dining and to be expected from a New York City restaurant. Great dining experience.

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
