The catfish grits are AMAZING! The catfish is moist and light; the grits are flavorful and thick. A great meal!

My friend was able to order takeout. Due to medical issues, we couldn't dine in. I didn't order due to my allergies.

The Sweet Potato Waffle with Hottie syrup, chicken and cheese grits was amazing! This was my first stop coming from the airport. Highly recommend!

I’ve been here twice and absolutely love this cozy place. The crab/lobster Benedict is OUTSTANDING. I had the shrimp and grits just this morning. A bit salty for my particular taste, but still good. Both times I’ve gone before noon — not at all crowded. The host/waiter is the sweetest, kindest gentleman — very attentive and kind. Coffee is SUPERB, the BEST way to start a morning. I love and am committed to supporting this Black owned business.

Visited here for the first time, and I will say that the food is delicious. I'm giving them 2 stars for one reason only.... I was rushed through my meal to seat other guests. We weren't even done with our food before the check was placed on the table.
