"Victor, Idaho may not be a place that's a destination for many travelers, but Big Hole BBQ makes Victor more desirable as a destination location! My wife and I shared the Big Hole Fries...OH MY! Very best fries we have ever had, some of the bestbrisket, best ribs I have ever had! Not only was the food excellent, the service was outstanding and good location! Definitelyrecommend to anyone who enjoys delicious meats, not veggies!"

"The food is super delicious (5 stars and we would like to go back. However, we had a bad experience for the first time. We said it would be a 30-minute waiting period that was good, they took our names (it was just us two and we were ready to wait, but then almost an hour later nobody had called our name, so we went in to ask. They told us they weren't sitting people anymore, were they?? So we hadn't waited for anything, and no one bothered to get out and inform us about this message. So we asked them why they took our names first and let us wait so long, just to turn us away. They argued that the kitchen really needed a break.... At this point we were quite upset and right. Especially because we drove over the pass to eat here. Luckily another server (corresponds to the supervisor/manager? overheard the conversation and she was nice enough to find out and put it to us. I am all for the support of local businesses, and I notice that there is a lack of personnel (I am 1 of 2 people in my entire department at my own workplace, so I know everything about it, but not all sketching and making excuses to turn away people AFTER 've took their names and let them wait so long. That's not a good business ethics. I hope it was just one thing. Because we loved their other food street food since they opened first, and we hope to go to butter a few more times before we move away."

"We had spent the day in the Grand Tetons and were heading to our hotel in Idaho Falls when we realized we were hungry. A quick google search showed us this place along our route with decent reviews, so we decided to stop here. It was pretty crowded when we arrived, so we had quite a wait for our table, which was fine. One thing we noticed while in line and during our dinner is that a lot of people seemed to know each other here; I’m guessing this is a local favorite. The décor is great with a nice vibe. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. They smoke grill the meat outside the back doors, so the smells coming in the restaurant were mouthwatering. The meal was good. The burnt ends were perfect and flavorful. The ribs were a little overdone, but still tasted great. The BBQ sauce is on the table to add if you want to, but my meat had enough flavor without it. My husband enjoyed his brisket. A couple nitpicks: Side salads are brought with the meal rather than before. So, you either eat your salad first (like a normal person) while your hot food goes cold OR you eat your hot food while it’s warm and are then too full for your salad. No refills on sodas. I asked for a refill and was brought another glass. When reviewing the receipt, I saw that I was charged for both drinks. Not a big deal, but surprising."

"We stopped in during a blizzard after snowmobiling all day we are a big family party of 11 . So I do think we are little overwhelming at first haha!! So at first we weren't getting warm vibes but our server warmed up pretty quick!! They have tons of great beer!!! Do we need more? But honestly the food was great!! We ordered family style. Pizzas, wings and salads. The portions were great!! We were hungry and pounded it all pretty quick. We would definitely stop by again when in the area! It's an environment that our teens can play darts pool just get up move around!"
