Stumbled upon Mahoney's on Main and we were not disappointed. We sat at the bar and the bartender was attentive and made some creative drinks upon request. The food was so tasty and the portions were generous.

Great ambiance, great food, great service. I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area. There were 3 of us and we all ordered the Shepherds Pie which was on a special menu that night. It was fantastic. My husband said his gravy was cold... so that's why I put 4 stars instead of 5

Wait staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was very good, prices were a bit pricey , but as most prices are today. Lighting was a little on the dim side, but plenty of light coming from front windows that overlooked Buzzards Bay green and train bridge. Definitely will return when we are back in area. Ver carta

This place is great. We got Irish Nachos~ they were delicious. Now I know what Irish Nachos are supposed to taste like. Fresh red-bliss potatoes in a skillet with all sorts of toppings. And a salad with blueberries, apples over a spring mix. Excellent! The staff was attentive and professional. Freshly made food makes all the difference, IMHO. We parked across the street in the public parking and it was an easy crossing to the restaurant.

This was my first visit, despite driving by the restaurant many times. The cocktails (dirty martini, cosmo, main st. manhattan) were well crafted, had well balanced flavors and nicely sized. The cauliflower appetizer was crispy, delicious but slightly sweet for our taste. It might be better as a dip instead of on the bottom of the dish as the cauliflower got a bit soggy. The chicken pesto sandwich was excellent with a great brioche style roll and the fries were perfect. The Rueben was tender, crispy grilled bread with just the right amount of sauce and sauerkraut. Mahoney 's is a great place in this area for drinks and a bite to eat. The atmosphere is sort of like an elevated pub feel, with dim lighting and lots of hanging lights. We also loved the exposed brick. We came for a double date night and found that it was the perfect place for that. It wasn 't too busy, but just loud enough to allow us to laugh and chat without feeling like we would bug anyone. Service was good. The younger guy who served us was efficient and friendly.
